Kayla & Others: How do you propose healthcare reform then? You know your fellow conservative mates aren't going to fancy taxes to fund the initiative! So, what say you? Please talk sense. No poppycock about America's establishment and how your founding fathers would shite themselves over this issue. And, why exactly isn't universal healthcare a human right? Why isn't it a governments obligation to take care of its poor as well as its wealthy? So are you individuals who are against this initiative also against public schooling? Isn't that a wee bit socialist as well? Or, what about medicare? Or, the governments involvement in sending HIV and Chemotherapy drugs to third world populations? In the end its a compassion issue along with a humanity issue. If you only care about certain classifications of human beings then there in lies the bigger issue.

How can you 'sit' out the tax? You are made to buy shit all the time you do not want right now in the form of TAXES

Business always has uncertanity. That is a smoke screen and GOP talking point. If you can not make ends meet, it mean your business model does not work. People like to blame their failure on the government. Hell if there were no taxes we would all have more money but then there would not be roads or police , so then maybe we would not have more money. Taxes are a funny thing, Can't live with
'em, Can't live without'em!

Obamacare doesn't just force people to buy into (pay for) a health insurance plan that provides emergency, catastrophic or minimum-care; it requires that they pay for medical services that they will never need, and subsidizie health services they will never use.

During the second half of the two-hour session, however, Kennedy and Roberts sharply questioned lawyers for the 26 states and business consortium challenging the law.
Kennedy said people who are uninsured constitute "an actuarial reality that can and must be measured for health care purposes," even though they are not actively involved in commerce. Near the end of the session, he said health care and health insurance may be different from other economic markets in that "the young person who's uninsured" at least comes "close" to affecting the overall market

Don't bet on it; Kennedy could just decide a mandate is ok, as long as it isn't as far reaching as Obamacare (with abortion, birth control, and other bells and whistles).....Kennedy might just support a mandate but with restraints !

That is exactly what was said and it is yet to be determined on a decision. Don't count your chickens before the eggs hatch just yet..lol
He was asking some tough questions of both sides but that in no way means he or they are leaning in any direction yet.

Of course it is only an opinion, but the questions he asked didn't sound like it at all. Kagan did make a complete ass of herself, never seen a SC Justice grovel like a whiny bitch in my life. Might as well put a sign in her chair that reads "Whatever Obama Wants". At least show some fricking dignity even if you already have your mind made up.

Kagan has already said the US Constitution is not a good model for others !
She won't be restrained by the US Constitution, and it's laws and precedents.

Like I said, only my opinion, but sometimes hearing it rather than just reading it can be interpreted differently. For those who care:

http://video.msnbc.msn.com/newsnation/46870818/
the majority of americans oppose the healthcare mandate..
ok, fine. Let the people speak.
put it to a national referendum.
anyone who votes no goes on record as such, and other than immediate, life saving, emergency room care, they can no longer use any form of social medical services.
NONE, PERIOD.

Stupid Fucs crying about trying to reduce a cost as if it is some new cost.
I tell ya this country is full of dumb shits that at best can only parrot talking point with no actual knowledge of the subject matter.
