In what specific way did Trump "shut down the economy?" It's a rhetorical question. He did not shut down the economy as you erroneously claimed.

He left the details of exactly what businesses to shutter and when to govs and mayors based on state/local conditions. And you think Gov. Newsome promised to praise Trump on CNN's Jake Tapper show in return for federal covid money for California?
