In what specific way did Trump "shut down the economy?" It's a rhetorical question. He did not shut down the economy as you erroneously claimed.

The cult of ignorance consists of Trump's followers that are either conned, racist as fuck, or indifferent and only supporting him for tax purposes.

Really? No economic shut-down?

Then maybe you can tell us why unemployment jumped from 3.5% in February to almost 15% in April.

And maybe you can explain why Congress rushed to pass two emergency spending bills (the Cares Acts) totaling almost $3 trillion if the economy wasn't in free fall.

Never mind, those were just rhetorical questions. Everyone knows why.

Speaking of the cult of ignorance, Kamala Harris is the Michele Bachmann of the dim-retard party. I guess she won't be benefitting from Trump's new covid vaccine:

The question was, in what SPECIFIC way did Trump shut the economy down and you haven't answered the question. Governors and mayors shut businesses down.

You tagged it "Trump's Katrina" as the first cases started appearing on US soil. You were hoping those early forecasts of 2+ million US covid deaths would be accurate. Just a small price to pay if it might make everyone turn against trump and usher in a blue wave in November. Who the fuck thinks like that? Oh yeah, the "empathetic" dim-retards, that's who!!

Can't you fucking read? I said he declared a national health emergency "that essentially shut down the US economy". He left the details of exactly what businesses to shutter and when to govs and mayors based on state/local conditions. If he had done more than that, you and your dim-retard pals would have screamed he was behaving like a fascist dictator. You relished putting him in a situation where you could slam him either way - for not doing enough or for acting like a dictator.

So you're saying Trump held up federal covid help for New York until Gov. Cuomo agreed to go on his little brother's CNN show and thank him?

And you think Gov. Newsome promised to praise Trump on CNN's Jake Tapper show in return for federal covid money for California?

And you're sure that Gov. Murphy was stiff-armed into writing a thank you letter and visiting the POTUS in the Oval Office and was threatened with no covid aid for New Jersey if he refused?

^^^ Just wanted to clarify all that... so everyone can see what extreme trump deranged thinking looks like!!

Travel ban lol

So Ron Klain was lying then?
“We don’t have a travel ban,” Klain said. “We have a travel Band-Aid right now. First, before it was imposed, 300,000 people came here from China in the previous month. So, the horse is out of the barn.”

“There’s no restriction on Americans going back and forth,” Klain said. “There are warnings. People should abide by those warnings. But today, 30 planes will land in Los Angeles that either originated in Beijing or came here on one-stops, 30 in San Francisco, 25 in New York City. Okay? So, unless we think that the color of the passport someone carries is a meaningful public health restriction, we have not placed a meaningful public health restriction.”

You mean Germany's vaccine? Pfizer was funded by them, not us.

Who the fuck is Ron Klain? Oh, you mean Biden’s former chief of staff and permanent political hack? THAT Ron Klain? The guy who speaks out of both sides of his mouth?

You tell me - was he lying when he said all of the following:

Ron Klain, a longtime top adviser and former Biden chief of staff, opposed a travel ban on Jan. 28, a few days before it was announced, calling it “premature.”

On Feb. 11 Mr. Klain again played down the likelihood that Covid would become “a serious epidemic.” “The evidence suggests it’s probably not that,” he said. Two days later, Mr. Klain tweeted, “We don’t have a COVID-19 epidemic in the US but we are starting to see a fear epidemic.”

...on Feb. 24 House Speaker Nancy Pelosi urged tourists in San Francisco to “come to Chinatown.” Mr. Klain echoed her three days later, saying people should not be dissuaded by “needless fears about coronavirus.” He added that everyone “should tonight go down to Chinatown in their city and buy dinner or go shopping.”

You do understand that a travel ban doesn't mean stranding your own citizens in a distant land - you still need to bring them back and quarantine many of them, right?

Well then by your logic, it is not in any way trumps fault for the virus spreading, it is the governors and mayors fault......

But what do I know, I voted for trump so I am dumb or racist or am so rich I was worried about my tax breaks...

As I said before... liberals are the most tolerant people in the world....as long as you agree with them

Personally I just think you are a whining little asshole who let's his hatred of trump make it impossible for you to give hime credit for all the good he did in his 4 years

Haha... if it's Germany's vaccine then why are we getting first dibs?

Yeah, Pfizer voluntarily chose not to slow down the development process negotiating for more R&D funding from trump. Instead, it pooled its resources with its German partner BioNTech and used Operation Warp Speed for manufacturing & distribution support. See my chart in post #89.

Maybe you should ask yourself why are you so adamantly in denial that Trump could have done something right to stamp out covid? Is your TDS making you irrational? There's no vaccine under development for TDS!

Whoa chizzy, be careful. We mustn't trip up 1pitt with his own obvious logical inconsistencies and contradictions! It might aggravate his already terminal case of TDS!

The first rule of being a TDS-afflicted dim-retard is to hoard all the credit and stick trumpy with all the blame!
