If Valerie Plame was a CIA operative, I'm a dyke.

Now come on, my liberal friend! That's been the right of center position for a long, long time.

A good article on some new charges that the DOJ is trying to conjure up. And the very obvious problems with those charges.

Wikileaks Contradicts
I came across this interesting article.
Wikileaks Contradicts Obama Administration on Iran
by Alan M. Dershowitz
December 6, 2010 at 3:45 pm
The recent disclosure by Wikileaks prove that the Obama Administration, and its water carrier J Street, were dead wrong in repeatedly asserting that the only way to get Arab support for tough policies toward Iran's nuclear weapons program is for Israel to end the occupation of the West Bank. There are good reasons for Israel to reach an agreement with the Palestinians leading to a two state solution, but garnering Arab support against Iran is not one of them. The Wikileaks proved beyond any doubt that Israel's Arab neighbors have a strong, independent basis for wanting to stop Iran from becoming a nuclear weapons power. I would take anything Alan Dershowitz writes on the matter with a grain of salt.

Even though ypu're a dyke PJ, we still have something in common!
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18924679/ns/politics/
The unclassified summary of Plame's employment with the CIA at the time that syndicated columnist Robert Novak published her name on July 14, 2003 says, "Ms. Wilson was a covert CIA employee for who the CIA was taking affirmative measures to conceal her intelligence relationship to the United States."
Plame worked as an operations officer in the Directorate of Operations and was assigned to the Counterproliferation Division (CPD) in January 2002 at CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia.
The employment history indicates that while she was assigned to CPD, Plame, "engaged in temporary duty travel overseas on official business." The report says, "she traveled at least seven times to more than ten times." When overseas Plame traveled undercover, "sometimes in true name and sometimes in alias -- but always using cover -- whether official or non-official (NOC) -- with no ostensible relationship to the CIA."

Alan Dershowitz espouses a point of view, however he is intelligent and writes well; I wouldn't accept such a blanket statement.

I said with a grain of salt....I never questioned his intelligence or writing. He does however came at this particular subject matter from a far right position. All I was doing was calling attention to that point.
J street has a different POV, I'm sure the solution lies somewhere in the middle. My statement stands though I hope that clarifies it a bit.
