Like I said earlier - Trump will start to run the tables. That means he is looking to pick up 2 states - N.H. and Minnasota, appealing to AA's ( he mentioned it in the State of the Union speech) and pick up suburban womens vote by focusing on anti crime and border security. Which equals win. Very exciting.
For some strange reason you think voters actually listen to Trump and believe what he is saying. Only hard-core Trump supporters listen to him and nod their heads in agreement. Others look at what he says and measure him on his results.
But the broken promises keep coming.
Remember when he said he would erase the deficit within his "8" years in office. Now his latest budget pushes that out to 15 years, and most believe that is pie in the sky.
"Donald Trump promised during his presidential campaign in 2016 that he would wipe out the federal deficit in eight years.
When Trump submitted his fourth proposed budget to Congress on Monday, he abandoned that pledge, as he did in his three previous budget proposals. The new budget proposal sets a 15-year target for eliminating the deficit."
And Trump's proposed budget is pure BS with no support from either side of the aisle.

THe latest poll by Morning Consult on the 2020 election has EVERY Democratic contender leading Trump except for Warren, who tied Trump. Bloomberg was the best at +5%. An Ipsos poll released yesterday has Bloomberg, Sanders and Biden ahead of Trump at +4, +4 +2. A Quinnipiac poll released yesterday has EVERY Democratic contender ahead of Trump with Bloomberg leading at +9%. Trump trails rather badly in polls in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, 3 states he needs in 2020.
Trump is a huge follower of the polls. I can guarantee you he will turn up the heat on Bloomberg very quickly. Bloomberg has already moved into 3rd place behind Biden and Warren in endorsements.
If Biden were to drop out of the race, I would bet the majkority of those supporting Biden would support Bloomberg.
Right now, in my opinion, Trump has reached his high water mark. There is only one way for him to go and that is down. Already his approval ratings have dipped slightly in the last week.

As to Rush Limbaugh - ask James Golden also known as Bo Snerdly. He's a black man that has been with Rush for 20 years ( His producer)and he says Rush is not a racist. He's rather pissed off about what people are saying about Rush. He also started a PAC "Make Black Americans Republicican Again." Those crazy Dems love to throw out the word racist without checking what's up. Trump knows that - I'm not a fan of Rush but I thought it was genius for Trump to give it to him at the State Of the Union address and make all those people watch. And than Americans could see those evil people shouting down Trump with "no" when he announced it. Even if you didn't like him that was unacceptable. It's a political medal - next time the Dems give it to one of their nutjobs see what happens.

The 3 polls cited first were national polls. Trump trails against Biden in state polls in several states he won in 2016 -- Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Ohio, Florida, NC. Some are within the margin of error, some are not. But even I admit it is too early to put much faith in these polls. What I will say, again, is Trump is very aware that he is currently behind in these polls and is focusing heavily on those battleground states.
As for the medal given to Limbaugh. Whatever Trump's reason for doing it, it was NOT viewed positively by the African American community. One person says Rush is not a racist. His statements over many years say otherwise. Maybe Rush did it just for the ratings with his Conservative audience. Does not matter. The statements were racist.
Trump has given the Medal of Freedom to several individuals since he's been in office. Obama gave it to the most individuals. I have absolutely no complaint about anyone other than Limbaugh receiving the honor. Compare the "accomplishments" of Limbaugh against any of the other hundreds of recipients and tell me why Limbaugh deserves the medal. This was not one of Trump's finer moments.

I won't disagrre with you on mainly Trump supporters that wanted to honor Rush L. I'm not a fan of his - never have been. But I do respect a Presidents choice on who to give the medal to. I didn't like that a talk show hostess got it either but I respect Obammas right to bestow it on who he thinks deserved it.
So I just saw Yang pulled out of the race. I knew he didn't have a chance but I liked him. I enjoyed listening to him. Very intellegent man. Oh also the guy from Colorado pulled out - never can remember his name.
Tell me after the results who you think will be the Dem nominee. You know if it's Sanders the party's over. Hell, the Dem party is even against him.

Too early to bury the Democrats if Sanders wins. As I pointed out, Sanders is doing quite well in the way-too-early polls vs. Trump. The question is if Sanders is the nominee, will voters who favored a more moderate candidate vote for Trump, sit out the election, or vote for Sanders?

But instead, it would seem to me that they made a concerted statement with their vote. Funny them New Hampshiriens.
Oh yes he did! And did you notice not to much about that was on the fake news. That is a huge deal. David Axilrod was asked who won the NH primary - his response - Donald Trump. He had an amazing 120,000 voters turn out for him.
Not only does Trump have his base behind him but the Republican party is all in too. It's gonna be a great run.

Agent220 I'll take a shot. I don't think America is ready for a gay President. Now I think Mayor Pete is an intelligent man and he means well for Americans. However, I'm seeing some not so nice things on social media that will probably doom his candidacy. The following post is the nicest thing people are posting - the other ones that I saw were horrible. So there is a large part of our population who will not vote for him based on his sexual preference. I am speaking mainly of religious people who take the bible literally.
