What Issa doesn't like and it was apparent in the interview is knowing he was being talked about via email exchanges and being told no to documents that have nothing to do with the Fast and Furious operation, or have anything to do with the death of the ICE agent. If Issa and others really wanted to find those things out they would be interviewing all of those in the previous administration who were apart of it and those agents who were in the thick of it.

It is clearly obvious that this is not only a personal thing with Issa but a highly political show to make it appear that someone is hiding something. Honestly I will be willing to bet Issa will get what he is after and it will have been nothing, all his efforts will yield nothing.

If what you're saying is true. Obama wouldn't be fighting to deny access to the documents. If the documents contain nothing incriminating, why not just release them and make Issa look foolish.

The claim that national security will be compromised by releasing the documents is absurd. Once this thing has been litigated, the documents will get released anyway. Obama is claiming executive privilege for documents he claims he has never seen. This is getting curiouser and curiouser.

I thought the concluding sentence of the article summed up the Fast and Furious coverup pretty well.
