Back on the negotiating though, I get kinda torn, I can see why the ladies don't like it, and I see why the guys want to do it. I do think there should be limits. But there is a business side to the hobby, and then the service side. The ladies have made the point that if you have specials you attract the lower class clients. All those are valid points.
But it's like my job, I'm a professional, but I can't walk in my boss's office and say "you're gonna pay me X amount an hour from now on," he'll laugh me out of his office. I go in and say hey, "I think I'm worth Z," he says, "no, you're worth X," and say, "how about Y," and we agree and we're both happy.
My buddy owns a restaurant, lots of service industry types business in and out of there all the time, same kinda conversations go own, they come, basically just like the hobby. They say here are some of our reviews proving our reputation and services, this is what we think we're worth, and my buddy says ok, well if you'll include free drinks you got a deal. Sometimes they say they can't do it and he says ok and signs anyway, sometimes he doesn't.
My point is, if if your showcase says your price is 300, and I pm you and say I'd like to meet, do you have any special right now, that's not reason to bite my head off or get pissy with me. If I see you usually upcharge for greek and I ask if you'll include greek in the appointment at the regular fee, again that's no reason to get mad. If the answer is no just simply say no. No harm no foul. I'm not gonna start begging or haggling it out. As some other gent put it, I know this isn't china town.
But to say it's never ok, it's never alright, never do it under any circumstance, I think that's stupid. I think the ones saying that need to get off their high horse and go do some real work for a few months.
Try and come work in the oilfield for the next 6 months with me and see how that goes. Oh, and the risking your lives comment earlier, you think some of us don't. I don't anymore but I used to, for a hell of a lot less than 300 bucks an hour. They figured it out one time, it was like $2.78 an hour. Literally got shot at on the daily for years.
Now I get to watch my company and others like it lay off dudes by hundreds and double everyone's work load and cut our pay by almost half. I'm not saying I need sympathy or no shit like that, I don't. Nothing like that, but to sit up there saying "it's never ok" "you just don't know" that's stupid. This is a business like any other. Matter of fact it's the oldest business in the world.
But if I come across your showcase and think I like her menu, she's hot, shes got a decent price, let me message her, and I ask if she has a special, don't get an attitude, just tell me one way or the other and ask if I still want to see you. Chances are I will. It's just if there is a special I'll do it more than once, or I'll if I actually have the extra, I'll ask if I can get an extra 15 mins or something, if I don't have the extra I'll thank you and move along. Pain points, there are maybe several of them waiting to be pulled out in the open for a good round of discussion.

Blacksmith is simply saying some of them, what and where they are. Unjustified rates seem to be topping the list. There are young girls here who enter the door with chart topping rates with nothing but age and looks. With no experience or reviews backing them up, it seems that a lot of guys here are not so cool about it.

First I'm not complaining about my income, I asked a simple question and some of you got all high and mighty about it. I tried to be nice and help you down off your pedestals a bit, now if you fall and break your ankle I'll laugh. I was just relating my situation in real life business to this, since some of you ladies wanna act like this is a simple business transaction but negotiating is off limits.

The ones that have been flakey, Honey, are from the get go, and it's most providers in general, not all, just most. I won't name drop but I swear to God and I can prove it. I was talking to a provider off P4, sent the prescreening, she texted me, asked when I wanted to meet. I said after I got off, outcall, she said it was an extra 50, I said that's fine, I want 2 hr, 500 her normal price, didn't ask for special or anything, ok she'll wave the outcall fee, didn't ask for that either. Next day, time comes NCNS, I'm pissed, I go to the bar blow 140 trying to pick up some college chick, I fail because I'm mad. Next day, she had a beer feel asleep she says. Ok shit happens right, so I ask if she'll do 90mins for the remaining 360 I have, sure she says, NCNS again, ghost me, won't answer a single fucking text or call.

That's the kinda flaky ass shit I'm talking about. I can prove every word of that. Not one bad review on eccie, everything legit on P4, I never creeped out or anything else, I have no idea what went wrong.
