Yes, I own stocks.

I know lot of mon and pop ers that don't buy stock, however 50% of all Americans invest in stock mutual funds or (equity base derivatives and annuities). Many of working class have a 401k however it will never be as big as top 1% wealth. Most mom and pops expand there own business. I have a friend with rentals he get more houses. I sold all mine every time move and I put the money in mutual funds and index funds.
