Please read my last post.

And I'm not exactly sure why you perceive me to have an attitude. I was trying to be clear on my points.

After my first post you came running in complaining about "That's not fair! Why not me?" Then tried to demean the whole post by calling it a threAD. Yes, I mentioned the trip because it's relevant. Did I mention dates? Times available? Menu?

If you wanna know if guys get the same treatment on p411 then ask p411. Simple.

Wth are you talking about. I asked a simple question based on your post. Get over yourself. If you can't handle a question then don't post but yes your response had as much attitude as this one does. My last statement was in replt to EA and addressed Gina not you so why reply to it. Your other post I left alone but it shows how you view your clients income and speaks volumes and that joke you threw in, well if Houston is so bad don't come and that solves that for you. Again you need to lighten up. If I wanted to be an ass I would and you would know it but I was simply throwing a question out based on your post. Now it's best to let it go and move on because my question was asked and answered that I directed to you.

THN..... That almost gives the impression you feel a provider's time is more valuable than a hobbiest's time.

A NC/NS is totally different than a cancellation. BTW good way to get a lil extra ad in about your visit.
This was your original post. Yes, an isolated cancellation 4hrs prior to the session is normal and forgivable which is why I don't have a cancellation policy here at home in Dallas. The point you are missing is that having the cancellation fee IN PLACE for HOUSTON has been very beneficial as it has kept the time wasters away that your city is known for. The reason I am coming to Houston - finally - is because I've had many requests to tour and I figure if I can survive Houston then I can survive them all (case in point).

All I did was state a very workable and valid solution to a problem many providers have here. Now I'm sorry, but facts are facts: Hobbyists aren't spending their grocery money on providers (at least they shouldn't be), but providers are earning their grocery money off hobbyists.

Please consider the following with regard to TOURING:

I can't go and book a traveling hobbyist up to see provider after provider after provider and expect his income to suffer if most of them don't show. Would it suck? Hell yes it would suck, but will he still be able to pay his bills? Yes. He actually BENEFITS financially if most don't show. Granted it's a huge waste of time where he could have been doing other things and it's never fun to be let down. It sucks to have your time wasted - but he still has a pocket full of cash (i.e. life's safety net). For a provider, when we are booked over and over and over again and no one shows we lose money. Where you actually save money - we LOSE money. Sorry if I come off with an attitude but I try to be very clear and concise. Sometimes it's taken the wrong way.

It's not Gina's responsibility to follow every thread on some other website in search of questions to answer. If you have a specific question then why don't you email the staff at p411. Again, just stating a fact. Not trying to be mean.

Lets not keep going with this. It's a waste of all our times. Peace

I tend to stay in business services and run my ads but every now and then a thread will bring me out of that forum and this is one. It amazes me how many providers talk about client NC/NS but have no problem doing it to their service providers. I've had appointments set with many providers here and I've taken the time to setup and get the shoot ready and then nothing - nada - NC/NS and when I call or pm to see if they are still coming it's the silent treatment. Those providers have not chimed in this thread but I have seen their NC/NS threads and responses to other NC/NS threads and from my point of view I just say it's karma. It's not just about clients and providers because for those of us that provide services to the providers our time is valuable too and if you want a client to call and give a proper cancellation then at least have the same decency to do that with your service providers also. Just my two cents.,..that is all.

My hairstylist has said the same thing. She does mostly dancers, models and providers. She requires a 20% deposit to book and still gets ncns'd.

I require 50% deposit and it seems like some girls just have money to burn but oh well, such is life.
