while we are all quick to jump
on the "this is awful bandwagon" how many of us cross the street when theres a group of blacks comming our way.. how many of refuse to hobby in the hood.. how many of us have started in the hobby with $20 bj's from crack ho's [many though certainly not all] black and " evolved to $300 hr escorts [most though not all white ]. while we are so fast to come to the defense if we look at our own habits we might be a little more lilly white than we think. many of our attitudes and choices are borne out of ignorance and bigotry others derive from true life experiences. sometimes the stereotypes are rooted in hatred and mean thoughts othertimes there is a basis for these feelings. take a moment and ponder these questions you do not need to answer them aloud but answer them to yourself honestly and then see what you feel about yourself
1] would a person saying axed, birfday, brought [instead of bought] be more less or equally likely to be hired by you 2] would you be more or less likely to leave your car unlocked in a predominately black neighborhood 3] would you be excited if your daughter came home and told you she was pregnant with a black mans child 4] would you be more or less likely to lend money to a black person than a white person 5] have you ever dated [outside the hobby ] a person of color 5] at your last social party you hosted what percentage of your guests were of color 6] would you feel comfortable telling your parents you are in love with a person of color once examining your thoughts to these questions ax yourself if you really have the right to critique others choices. if you answer all in a manner that absolves you from any guilt you are either a better person than i or lying to yourself. if your honest answers indicate something else do you have the right to criticize others. one final question and please honest answers.. would you stop at a gas station in harlem at midnight and ask if they accept $100 bills while a crowd was around.. would you feel more or less apprehensive in the afluent suburb asking the same question

Has she read about the Craigslist murder and assults that happened to providers? If she had said she doesn't see Black men, fine so be it, however there should be at least some respect and taste when putting up adds where everyone can read them. Yes she has a right (freedom) to see whom she pleases, but she shouldn't or doesn't have the right to be disrespectful here or anywhere else. The gentleman here should be respectful to all ladies here no matter our desires or preferences, it should be no difference when it comes to providers. Freedom of speech doesn't mean you can yell fire in a crowded theater. I feel Flinde spoke the truth to what many feel about these type of ads. He was offended and white, so would it matter if he said he was offended and Black? I didn't read where he was mad about the opportunity to see her, but about the racist suggestion in the ad that affects a group of men on this wonderful site, (your hobby brothers). I have seen ads that deal with this situation done in a tasteful manner, hers wasn't and I too feel she should be advised how to "RESPECTFULLY" word her ads in the future where it is not disrespectful or insulting. Blacks may not have the opportunity to see you, but they shouldn't be allowed to be disrespected either. Just my view on this.

The NBA nonsense in online ads is a relatively new phenomena in my experience, Rambo Creed. Might have been a little bit, here and there, in the past, but not like recently.
The issue here is do we allow patently offensive depictions of an NBA policy to be permitted/posted here.
I'm not saying any gal has to bang anyone they dont want to (unless its me they dont want to bang). I'm saying that racist comments like the one here that is so offensive to me, and others, should to not be permitted here.
This BS about the 1st amendment, small business owners rights, suing is all nonsense. Bottom line, this thing of ours is at best frowned upon by most people and at worst somewhat criminal (in theory).
So, its up to us to set our mores and rules. I'm simply saying that NBA containing ads and posts should, in my opinion, be as impermissable as the other impermissable areas, Fees, RW info, and the unmentionable categories.

That's what I've said myself. When they let them post that kind of crap, it suggests condoning/accepting it. Make them take it elsewhere and tell every guy individually that she won't see them based on color. Quit making it easy for them.

Maybe we can all make a list of thing that offend us and get the owners to ban them. Yeah that would be great. I'll start. Flinde and Rambro offend me. See ya.

Cool than all this arguing about it her in the SA Co-ed is useless. I agree with you guys. Now post it in the members suggestion forum and take take the time to request that this policy be changed. As much time as is being spent arguing this issue here in Co-ed where no one is going to do anything about it, this issue could be being discussed with the owners and administrators that can do something about it.

Sometimes it can be as subtle as going to an AMP and simply being provided "just a massage" while others write eloquent reviews pertaining to how much fun they had. Perhaps some of you really need to get out (get away) more? This is NOT something unique to the San Antonio forums. Many ladies (and agencies) far and wide have these kinds of business models; however, they do not indicate their geographical areas for obvious reasons. Rambro Creed ==> might I suggest you take this topic to the National Coed forum and try to ascertain what you might suspect is going from a global perspective?

My ECCIE Reviews

Rambo...some of us ladies put up with prejudice everyday. I had to put my big girl panties on and accept the fact that I have to live with the hand that was dealt.
Boo-hoo...I'm Asian...with a flat butt...old...and get emails from Mr. Nice that say things like, "hey baby, I feel like I'm comin' down with yellow fever today...hit me up."
We can't change other people...we can only change ourselves and how we think and act. Is Racism acceptable...in my opinion...absolutely NOT! Am I going to sit around and point fingers at those who may think so...absolutely NOT! What a waste of my energy and life...it's too short to sit around whining about racsim.
Be assertive...take action...in all the ways that will effect change.
Anyway, happy hobbying!

Geez Liki, I didn't know you were Asian (I thought you were Japanese or Korean or even Chinese - but Asian is like the straw breaking the camel's back) had no butt (how do you poop?), and while I know you are 50. I didn't know that you are old!
Geez, now I have to redefine who fits my NANBO50BO (No Asian/No Butt (poops out of a tube)/Only50ButOld policy.
The problems this will cause.
I need a martini.
