The "them" in my original statement was directed at the Jews.

With the dissolution of the Ottoman Empire after WWI, the League of Nations carved up the territory in a classically imperial fashion and Britain got Palestine. I believe this was an intentional move, as Britain signed the Balfour Declaration in 1917 which positioned Britain in support of a Jewish national home.

With that, the considerations of the local Arab population went largely ignored, leading to a series of revolts and insurgencies. Once enough Zionist Jews settled, they began their own insurgency against both the Arabs and occupying British forces. With that Britain consulted the UN, and worked out a plan to get themselves out of there, handing the keys to the Jews.

the original palestinians were the jews and some arabs who lived in the palestine mandate.

There are Arabs-Palestinians living in Israel VOLUNTARILY. Some just got killed by the rockets fired by Hamas. Adults and young ones.

For years many Arabs-Palestinians entered Israel to work.

Hamas is a distinct group that stirs up shit and is funded by Iran.
