Bush cooked the books, too. Just don't lie and say Obama isn't. He is. Get the real figures from both administrations and compare them. I haven't looked, and I don't really care. If Bush is worse than Obama, so be it. We all knew Bush was a disaster. Problem is, Obama is too.

Compare them to what? Each other? What'll that prove? You insisted on an apples to apples comparison "for a change". We can compare Bush to Obama all we want, but without knowing how those two compared to Clinton, and Bush I, and Reagan, and Carter, and Ford, and Nixon, and Johnson, and Kennedy, and Truman, and Roosevelt etc etc etc, all we have is a comparison between Bush and Obama.

Fact is, an apples to apples comparison was in the process of being made. But because it won't sound negative enough for you, you want to change the rules. Because you backtracked and now claim you want more negative numbers for both doesn't change one simple fact - you just want something that will help you think you're right about the disaster you think this country is. Never mind that it's pretty much the same as it's always been.
