Agree with the comment that few (if any) tattoos make a woman look better and most make them look worse.

Have seen (and enjoyed) LisaLove and did not find hers distracting even though they seem that way in her ads (go figure).

I would think a temporary tat would give the girl the option of treating them like earrings who the f+++ wearks the same accessories every day?

I often see tats in an ad and rule the gal out. When you're ready for thoughts on eyebrow, nose and lip piercings, lemme know.

Tattoos and body piercing will not attract me. In some cases will distract me, but never attract me.

Have I seen ladies with body art? Sure. At what point does it become so distracting that I choose not to see her again? It varies.

But body art should be able to be hidden. Again, going back to the 'meet me in the hotel lobby' thread, I don't want someone who screams I am an escort, or has any attributes that will make her stick in anyone's memory.

If there were identicla twins in front of me, one had body art, other did't, the one without would win out.

Why do some guys go for the tattoos and body piercing? Makes a gal look like she is really BAD, and he wants a really BAD girl.

I think its an age thing, older guys are more likely to have a strict "no ink" policy. Younger guys are more likey to see the art aspecþ and will share tat stories and be attracted to providers with tats.

Its those of us in the middle who make individual judgements on whether a tat is a distaraction. That doesn't mean we should judge the lady, that should never happen because we all skeletons in the closet and berhaviors that bring on judgement of us all. As it is we have way too many judgements and not enough enjoying each other for who we are individually.

For me, I draw line with tats on the breasts...that's a distraction I struggle to get past regardless of how wonder the ladies personallity, looks, etc are in all other areas.

As with everything, if it is about attraction or preference... then I completely understand. If it is about judgement, then I would be glad the gentleman passed.

I have never let a tat come between my and the woman I am with. I have seen plenty that have them and for the most part have been extremely please with the service provided. However, like most posts above, I have NEVER seen a tatoo that even remotely enhances the appearance of a beautiful lady.

Trite as it sounds, I've seen ladies with no ink that were far less appealing than some with ink. If you have rigid rules and stipulations in life, and can't look past them, there's far too many opportunities to miss out on something wonderful.

Just like the fact that clothes or an amazing body may be nice window dressing, it's the person beneath it all that really matters. The same holds true IMHO for ink and body art!

The interesting thing is that almost none of the anti-tat statements are the least bit judgmental. It's about what guys prefer and what they find attractive. The statements about it reflecting on character aren't coming from the men.

For me I don't care much one way or the other about a little ink, but don't find heavy ink attractive. I also think that, as with much art, it's very subjective as to what someone does or doesn't like. It doesn't mean I think the girl is on drugs, has a pimp or is trashy. I don't find women with shaved heads attractive either but I doubt anyone would be offended by that statement. At the end of the day part of what most guys are looking for is physical attraction, and most guys are going to go with whatever type of person they are attracted to.

Well, I think I am beautiful and I have 17 tattoos. A piece on my arm that isnt finished BUT I WILL FINISH IT!

I love tattoos done right and tasteful.

Its almost a fetish for me because the sound of the needle and rush I get really turn me on.

You are correct. I am very pleased to know that most of you gentlemen have an open mind about things.

I stand by what I said though, and it wasn't aimed at anyone in particular, just a general statement. If you aren't attracted to me because of my few tattoos....cool, we can still be friends.

I am old enough to be any of your father and maybe some of your grandfather, A provider that will remain nameless put it in perspective for me about a year ago. The skin that has tattoos on it is only the wrapping paper on a present. Some may like the paper some may not. It's the woman inside that wants to please you is what it is all about. I can honestly tell you that is so true. Those who will not see a woman because of tattoos may miss the greatest time of their hobby life. Those who will not see a woman with out tattoos is doing the same thing.

I can honestly say the provider who told me that has become one of my favorite FRIENDS, didn't say provider, said FRIEND!
