You have a lot to learn about culture- go to NY and call a Puerto Rican, Cuban, or Dominican a Mexican and see if they react to you? Being half hispanic does not mean you are any part Mexican. GZ has no Mexican blood in him whatsoever- he's half Peruvian which has nothing to do with being Mexican. I am 100% sure GZ would never define himself as half or part Mexican- so if you don't see anything wrong with his statement than God help you.

A lot of people on this post keep putting race into the equation and then making angry insulting posts. As was said in one post, take race out of it and then ask yourself if you really disagree with the jury's decision? More than 30 states have a version of stand your ground laws, but if you decide to stand your ground, be prepared for the possible consequences. That was explained very well to me during my CHL class.
None of us really know exactly what happened, but the best explanation based on the evidence is that one guy followed another guy who evaded him and then ducked into a hiding place and sprung upon the other guy and began beating his ass.

Maybe they did. Maybe his 17 year rebellious mind didn't pay any attention to it. It sure would have ended differently if Travon would have said- "Hey, I live over here, you can follow me home."
What if Travon would have demonstrated this same behavior towards the police or an off-duty cop hired to patrol the neighborhood?
Certainly Zimmerman could have handled the situation differently as well. He has paid and will continue to pay the rest of his miserable life for his mistake.

Have you ever been up north? Ex-Nyer is a hobbyist who post on here- ask him what would be the reaction in NY and most major big cities if you call a Puerto Rican a Mexican? I bet my last dollar that you think Iranians and Iraqis are the same race of people? Heck they certainly look a like right?
