Its the speculators driving the price down. It has to be because every idiot who isn't in energy blamed them for the price going up. So if they can make the price go up, they must be the ones making it go down.

Different factors make up the price. About 50% is supply/demand, about 5-10% is speculation, the rest is made of up geopolitical risk, operational risk, forecasting risk, and ....(drum roll) the value of the US dollar. Oil is denominated in US dollars worldwide. The value of the dollar makes a difference, often more than people realize.
