Doofie, just what is the answer? You must know, don't you? I already said you beat me this round. What more do you want?

I rescind my surrender, and find you to be the true idiot that you are. Game over. You can't produce the goods, you lose. Good bye, Doofie.

Of course you know this, but i'll say it anyways.

You and your gang acted as if every President commemorates it every year - except Obama. So the burden of proof was on you to know who the last President was to commemorate it every year.

You failed. Not me.

It was a good trick. But you have shown yourself for what you are.

I'm still waiting to hear what constitutes commemorating. Would issuing a statement on the anniversary be sufficient? I know that we have talked about it but I would like to hear your definition to avoid any confusion.

Personally I'd like you to understand just how big a double standard you and some of your rightie cohorts have a case of!

You hate Obama and will never admit to him doing anything correct.

Example please? And you're lying again. I've made several posts where I have congratulated Obama for something he's done. It's just that it is rare that he does anything right.

NDAA - wrong
Obamacare - wrong
Stimulus - wrong
CISPA - wrong
LOST - wrong
Taxes - wrong
Afghanistan - wrong
Gitmo - wrong
Syria - wrong
Iran - wrong
Unemployment - wrong
Welfare - wrong

Also, he lies. But when he does something right, I will say so, and have said so. So you lefties can be happy.

Someone who exposes you and your bullshit?

Perhaps if you explain, for the purpose of this thread, why it's even necessary for me to know....when you don't.

I also have mixed feelings about this.

It would be easy to jump on the President about this, my Dad was a WW-2 Vet.

Whether we like it or not, WW-2 is becoming old history. Probably in another 10 years, we will see the last Veteran from WW-2 pass.

We have Veterans Day, and Memorial Day, to celebrate the sacrifices that men and women have made in defense of our liberties.

Was D-Day any more important than Washingtons crossing of the Delaware in the icy water to attack the Hessians? Was it any more important that Gettysburg, where the Union finally got it's act together and went on to defeat the Confederate Forces and perserve the Union? Was it any more important than the battle of Midway, where we ended Japans seemingly invicibility in carrier dominate warfare? Was it any more
important than the dropping of the two Atomic Bombs on Japan to finally break the will of the Japannese to carry to wage war?

In fact, we do not even recognize VE day or VJ day.

As I said, we have two holidays already set aside to honor those that served, and those that gave the ultimate sacrifice while serving.

Duh. You brought it up. But I guess it would be ridiculous to expect you to understand your own posts when you don't understand anyone else's.

Of course we wish Obama wasn't in the White House; and you'r right, he hasn't done much of anything that is positive for this country.

Even on the issue of race relations (which I had high hopes for) Obama appears to go out of his way to divide us.

As Rush said; "I hope he fails". And he did !

So you wish Seal Team Six had failed....Do you hope that GM and Chrysler fail? Do you hope unemployment rises?

Why do you wish for an American President to fail.

Did I agree with the invasion of Iraq? No. Did I want it to fail? Hell no.

If you use Rush as your standard bearer, you will just look like a fool.
