Similar to the Cowboys and Yankees. They are able to infiltrate the smaller fan bases of other teams and cause a huge disadvantage. IMO, MLB is the worst with no salary cap.. Basketball is similar but has a soft cap in which the large market teams now have to share the proceeds with the smaller market teams. This was a huge area of emphasis during the lockout but is still a problem IMO. I think a lot of the Laker Hating goes with that.. They flood the market and us homers aren't having that shit.

Like I mentioned, I respect the game of some of the players on OKC, but I can't stand the team personally. I think Kendrick Perkins is hands down, the biggest, whiniest son of a Bitch in the league. I think Durant, Westbrook, and Harden are all embarrassments to my generation. I can't stand the way they dress, act, or play (Durant an Westbrook mainly, I think Harden is aight). I think young guys like Blake Griffin, Derrick Rose, and Kevin Love are far more likeable and respectable than the OKC guys. They rub me the wrong way immensely.
I also think Nick Collision is a Bitch and he looks like a Hobbit.
But yeah, that and along the fact they pretty much stole that team from Seattle is the reason I dislike this team so much. It's just a combination of everything.
And as far as the large market teams getting all the attention, it doesn't bother me, I actually prefer the teams I root for to be under the radar.
btw that gif of Mitch in the OKC stands is incredible LOL
