It really doesn't matter how many hobby husbands/fuck buddies a person who is in this hobby has as long as the communication is clear as to what is going on.

With the exception of one woman, every time I have been off the clock with someone who earns her living (or most of it) through providing, before going off the clock (OTC), it was expressly said.

Things like: "Your time is up but I don't want to go so from now on till I leave this is on me".
"I'm too tired to drive home, do you mind if I stay here with you till the morning? On me of course!"

In other words, the provider made it clear by her words and actions.

IF I invite someone to spend time OTC I make sure it is extremely clear that I am not going to be paying her for her company.

Lack of clear communication is the bane of this hobby.

A provider once asked me why I always lay the donation out first. I told her I did not want the embarrassment of forgetting it. She told me that she would not have any trouble calling me and reminding me. It would still be embarrassing though.
