Ukraine and even the Middle East issues stem from outside people drawing lines on a map disregarding the people that live there.

Oliver Stone's movies about Ukraine, "Ukraine on Fire,"(2016) "Revealing Ukraine" (2019). Stone definitely not MAGA. Interesting for the history that hardly anyone here knows or cares about. 2014 in detail and no one "took" Crimea.

Some will learn something if that's really the motivation or stick to the name calling. Don't care.

There is simplistic, unoriginal "truth" in the first post, but only because of basic facts. The rest is just hopeful implication and speculation based on nothing more than coincidental timing. There's a difference between a movie and a documentary. Stone was actually in Vietnam so his Platoon is said to be very realistic.

Trump and Vance intentionally blew up their meeting so Trump can claim that the failure to end the war in a day, week, month, ever isn’t his fault. We all knew that it was a lie when he said it but it was more clear he had no idea what he was getting into.

Trump’s plan to end the war was to rely on statements by Putin that he’d not advance if given a ceasefire. Trump never was pushing for a permanent peace but was gonna claim a ceasefire was an end to the war. The cost of the ceasefire was going to be a deal with Ukraine where they pay the US for a ceasefire that would just give 20% of Ukraine to Russia and allow Russia to gear up for further fighting in a few years.

Trump and Vance are truly idiots.
