My recollection is along the lines of: Sheinbaum, for her part, committed to taking immediate actions to block migration routes heading north. This decision could redefine Mexico’s immigration policy and its role as a transit country for thousands of migrants from Central America, South America, and other regions.
In addition, the leaders discussed the need to address the issue of interdiction of contraband.
Care to share that alternate reality of which you speaketh? So what happened?

Read the links, amigo. What Trump claimed and what Sheinbaum claimed aren’t the same.

A simple scan of journalistic media will reveal it.
Reading is FUNdamental. Try it.

When she was elected, that lady was very clear that she was not really that concerned about keeping the Mexican citizens from migrating here. Regardless of tariffs or whatever threats Trump wants to make, I highly doubt her position will change much form her predecessor and mentor.
Anyway, folks, have a nice Thanksgiving. Time to be fake around the fam and be careful with my usual cursing and watch the sorry ass Cowboys as tradition on this glutton day. Haha

Oh, I see. ... We're supposed to trust the liberal media?
Glad you cleared THAT up! ...
No worrys - IF the Mexico President doesn't stop
the flow of illegals - Then the tariffs will hit.
And hit HARD. ... And I have little doubt that Mexico's
leaders will see things Trump's way...
And Canada will, also.
... See? ... Salty KNOWS!

I hope everyone is willing to pay more for their coffee soon.
According to this site. https://usafacts.org/articles/where-...fee-come-from/
The US consumed about 282 times as much coffee as it produced. All coffee produced by the United States is produced in Hawaii. None of it is produced in the lower 48 states.
And this site. https://www.semafor.com/article/11/2...vietnam-brazil
Coffee beans hit their highest price in 47 years, driven by bad weather in Vietnam and Brazil, the biggest producers of robusta and arabica beans respectively.
Now consider adding on an extra 20% tariff to the bill for a product we must import.

O I C where you're going there now...
I'll admit, it took me a few seconds to decipher your post.
Seems you are saying: That Trump and his team's plan to penalize (actually, I would call it incentivize) Mexico to stop the flow of illegal aliens and contraband from pouring across the border will cause Climate Change the world over, which will cause coffee prices to rise exponentially, globally, and the coffee beans from far away places all ship to the USA through Mexico.
Well... I'm not seeing how this thread relates to any of those.
Couldn't ya just lead with Orange Man Bad again?
FWIW: The current prices for Hawaiian coffee under the Biden-Harris regime are unaffordable for most Americans already.

You said the higher prices from the current administration are good for you but the higher prices under Trump's administration wouldn't be good for you...please explain

It doesn’t take a psychic to see that chaos is coming to the economy. Nobody thrives on chaos. Higher prices, higher inflation, poorer people are the new norm in my opinion. All because of Trump and his dumb ass tariffs.

Certainly has been for the past four years. Time for some fresh faces and new ideas.
Here's a new idea: Tariffs, with reduced government and less taxes.

WRONG, that is what Biden created with his massive government spending and wide open borders plus his war on fossil fuels.
Get a better news source instead of the massive lies you keep posting here.

And if I’m proven right you’ll still not believe any legitimate source of information either.
