Correct, but, if he hadn't, they would have killed him. It's called self defense. He tried to get away but they wouldn't let him. If you read the full story and watched the videos, you would have seen that. Should he have been there with a gun or not, probably not, but that's history now. It's tragic that lives had to be lost but if the men he killed had left him alone, they would be alive today.
