The simple answer is that 21 states decided this one disease, ( you'll notice I didn't add it to my list ) should have a law to make it illegal to have sex without telling your partner or partner's, that you have HIV.

29 states however did not create that law. For the rational, you would have to talk to the legislator's that decided they needed this law.

It is possible but not likely, since we now have a vaccine, that a law could be written to say if you test positive for Covid and knowingly violate a mask mandate , you have violated the law and could be punished. Here in Florida, in the early days of Covid, Miami Beach, started handing out tickets to people violating the masking law but the Governor stepped in and said fines would not be allowed.

I see where a couple of cities like St. Louis have now put mask mandates back into affect but I don't see any information whether tickets with fines will be given out.

Point is, it is up to the people and their Representatives in State Houses to decide this, not the federal government.


To the point of Fox news people now openly suggesting that people get vaccinated, it is not hypocrisy because none of them ever said "don't get vaccinated while having been vaccinated themselves", that I am aware of. From the very beginning, people like Tucker and Hannity were standing up for people's rights, they weren't telling people to not get vaccinated but they were saying things like "some people are having adverse affects" which of course the Biden administration did not want being aired. Telling people that your government may not always be telling you the truth, was a constant for 4 years of the Trump administration but when the media is on the side of the current President, all of a sudden, "you may not speak ill of or offer an opinion different than the current administration wants" is the new law punishable by banishment from social media.


That is the definition of hypocrisy.
