True ECCIE does have those policies in place. To some extent they make sense to me because the activities that are not allowed to be discussed are also criminal. If we started discussing activities involving animals, kids, or drugs on top of hooking up in a pay for play site, then LE activity would really heat up around here, more so than it already is.

Unfortunately racism is not criminal and is not actionable unless it falls under certain laws which are established to get rid of discriminatory actions which as were already discussed in another thread a hooker refusing to blow you because you are black is not actionable.

So ok, the stating no African Americans bothers folks around here. Cool if we changed the guidelines to not allow this then we should change them to also not allow the ladies to ask about height, weight, appearance, and oh my some ask about race also in their ads, since all of those factors are also discriminatory practices.

Or you may say, Chuck, you are taking it to far, just not the insensitive post this provider wrote out (which i agree was a stupid post) and if they have this policy just place it in their website. Cool, we all know all hobbyists do extensive research as to the ladies requirements outside their ad on ECCIE. Honestly some don't even do that, they just click see number and contact. This is your preference. Why does everyone have to have the same view as you do? Plus you are also discriminating since you only ask yourself "is she hot?" What about the non-hot ones? Some guys only see latinas, some guys only see white ladies, some prefer asians, some prefer AA providers. It has nothing to do with racism, just with a preference.

That's why I prefer a provider let me know upfront what her "no" preferences are, so that if i don't fit into them, i don't have to bother researching her and getting excited about seeing her and then get rejected.

Plus just discussing the topic here does not do much good. Why not suggest it to the board owners/administrators and let them decide if they want to make the change or restrict it to providers only being able to ask about "height, age, weight, and race" without making it specific to any particular race in their ads.

In the end these things are really very simple.

1. The provider is free to run her business as she sees fit.
2. The hobbyist is free to choose whoever he wants to see.

That is it.

All the hand wringing and hemorrhaging is not going to change anything and is pointless.

There are so many other better things that can be done with the energy.

When I hear these discussions it reminds me of the Spike Lee comment "If you grew up in America you are a racist." In some ways I agree with him. I lived in Atlanta for 10 years and there are many neighborhoods and restaurants and businesses where a nonblack will find himself the ONLY nonblack there. I used to always think I was not racist growing up but then realized every liberal intellectual fancies himself nonracist. But it was only when I realized the fabric of racism that was indoctrinated into me that I became a little less racist. But I knew at least 3 really hot white girls that I wanted to get in good with that only dated black men and I got to feel the disappointment of being discriminated against because of color in the sexual arena. It's a weird feeling because I didn't even have a chance. America is tainted with a scourge of racism and denying it is delusional. Maybe so, but if that pattern of refusal is one race or ethnic group, then there's going to be problems. Not only that, but most likely some justification will be needed as to why this pattern is so. Again, at the very least it will be frowned upon. This NBA attitude is the same thing, except you have people in here praising and supporting it. Condoning it, even.

Wow. How did we get to this point in this hobby, or has this always existed? I've only been doing this about 8 years, at least in this capacity. In the past 15 years of hobbying, I've never seen anything like this (the attitudes on BP and this place). It's almost to the point where there's no shame to put it in an ad or be supportive of this attitude towards one group, one small group at that.

Then again, maybe there is no shame at all, which is troubling. I guess BM is the most expendable demographic out there. Who cares, huh? They're all a bunch of savages anyway, right? Thugs. Gang members. Criminals. STD's. Uneducated. Deadbeat baby daddies.
