You can not take more than we tax. Simple Math will catch up to you. No matter if you are a Veteran or not. It will catch up to us all.

Oh yes I can. When that Defense becomes bloated and calls for enlistment to grave medical and educational opportunities. Yes I can citizen a person that calls for small government except in military spending and spending on his Medicare. Now read what I actually said and maybe you won't come on here sticking up for hypocritical shit.

These Tea Nuts do not want you to touch their Medicare , yet they want to cut government spending. It makes no fucking sense and we do them no service by letting them say such stupid shit just because they are veterans of the military. Is this wtf our military is teaching them? Some God Damn new math where you can cut taxes and start wars and then bitch about the DEFECIT?
|
Should we just say all government workers are military and all they do is for the Defense of this country? Afterall, without the IRS, there would be no way to pay these veterans, yet these small government brainy wacks never seem to care for IRS government workers. So yes you and JD are hypocrites and not even smart enough to realize it. Talking to folks like you is like talking to Al Sharpton and his defense of welfare fuckers.

See you do not read. The Tea Party does not want you to touch their Medicare. That was their very motavation to start their movement. That very thing you say is not in the Constitution.
Fighting for Big Oil to make money all over the world is not the Defense of this country btw. It is Defense of a very select few and their rich's paid for by the common mans blood.

Really? Cite a source. The only thing I've heard from the Tea Party about Medicare is their objection to cutting it in a phony accounting trick to make ObamaCare appear fiscally sound. Real Tea Partiers - unlike the phony ones you make up for the convenience of your argument - would be perfectly happy to REFORM Medicare to make it work. But cutting it ONLY to make ObamaCare palatable to the majority of stressed-out tax payers is dishonest, to say the least.

And by "cite a source" I don't mean Google it and hand me a dozen liberal spinmeisters citing a McClatchy-Marist poll from a year ago. Cite a source from a credible person in the Tea Party, not a poll asking if we want to throw granny off a cliff.

How the fuc can I do that? Their are no credidible people in the Tea Party! Be like asking people in the KKK if they are racist, They will tell you "Hell no I'm not racist, I just hate n**** ''
Do you understand just wtf you are asking? You are asking me not to listen to polling numbers that support what I say and instead show you a poll of ''real Tea Party folks''. Where is that poll? Why don't you go get me that poll. The poll that shows what 'real' Tea Party supporters think. The fact of the matter is that the majority of Tea Party supporters do not think like you. You are in the minority in your own damn movement! LOL
http://tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com/2...e-medicaid.php
In a McClatchy-Marist poll released this week, 70% of registered voters who identify with the Tea Party opposed making cuts to either Medicare or Medicaid — the government-run health programs for the elderly and the poor — to help reduce the nation’s deficit. Meanwhile, only 28% of tea partiers said they’d be willing to cut spending on those two programs.
But it’s the Tea Party finding which sticks out as the most glaring. The Tea Party has led the charge to slash government spending, but the Marist poll suggests they’re loathe to touch what amounts to about 20% of the entire federal budget.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Next thing is Defense...24% of our spending. You do not want to touch that because why ? Oh because it is in the Constitution. Now that 24% does not include interest payments that we are having to pay on the national debt because we borrowed money for wars. Some could figure that Defense takes up as much as 50-60% of our budget. So you Tea Party willy wackers do not want to cut anything from 50-70 of the budget. And you wonder why I make fun of the movement.

I knew that McClatchy-Marist poll is what you were going to cite. Yeah, if you ask most people - not you, I suppose, but most people - if it's OK to make granny eat dog food until she dies if it means we can give bigger tax breaks to oil companies, most Tea Partiers will say of course not. I exaggerate only slightly when I say that Marist poll was worded about like that.
Replacing/reforming programs like Medicare is extremely complex. You get the response you want and expect when you ask "do you favor cutting programs for the elderly." Much more honest, but much harder work, to dig in and ask if people are in favor of REPLACING programs with others that accomplish the same ends.
And I am NOT a minority in my own movement, because if you ask me a dumb-ass question the way you framed it, I would ALSO say I'm opposed to cutting Medicare. But there would be a second half to my answer that Marist wouldn't (and wouldn't WANT to) capture. The COMPLETE answer is "I'm opposed to cutting Medicare WITHOUT REPLACING and or REFORMING it. If such replacements and reforms must be phased in, I'm in favor of leaving the program in place for current benefit recipients, and making age-based changes - the younger the contributors, the bigger the changes."

I repeat - and have not yet been proven wrong - that when cuts to Medicare were proposed to help shore-up the financing of ObamaCare, OF COURSE the answer was NO. Since the Tea Party came to life mostly in response to ObamaCare being shoved down our throats, OF COURSE cutting Medicare in order to give life to that monster was unthinkable.

That's it? You show a sign that somebody is carrying at a rally and you've somehow won the argument? Wow! Another product of government education.

OK, let's take what Rand Paul said:
http://blogs.wsj.com/washwire/2010/0...ctor-payments/
Simple cuts to Medicare in the form of reduced payment to doctors is unacceptable. He said it, and I agree with it. But what part of REPLACE/REFORM do you not understand? Dr. Paul DID NOT address what he would do to replace/reform Medicare. He wasn't asked about that. He simply said making doctors take lower reimbursement for services rendered is not acceptable.
