You know, I've had a guy do that to me. A few times, actually. Just a quick segue.
I generally just don't ask, during screening, about race. It doesn't matter.
And quickly, I'll make a REALLY GOOD suggestion for the ladies reading this. Instead of just asking what the race is, why don't you ask,
"How will I be able to recognize you?"
You'll get a MUCH better response and learn more about the guy in the process, regardless of ethnic background. Plus, you'll be less likely to alienate your client base, especially with such a sensitive issue.
Back at it, though. Specially, it was a younger guy than I feel comfortable with seeing anyway but he screened and he really was a great guy. When I opened the door, he was black. Not a problem.
But he asked me if I was surprised.
And then, he said that he liked to "surprise" escorts, since he speaks in a certain fashion and has a certain tone of voice ..and that part of getting together with sex workers was to surprise them that he's a black guy.
I told him that didn't sound like such a good idea.
The appointment was fine. And I tried to tell him that "surprises," unless they're wrapped in a bow, slipped in a card, and/or has the name Chanel/Tiffany/Godiva/Amazon (!) on it, really wasn't something that was good to do to your fellow demimonde member.
Anyway ... just my scattered thoughts this early afternoon.
I know that you were joking about the surprising bit.
