Apparently next season (season 8) will be the last. Rumor has it, though, that a spinoff, or more of a prequel, will start afterward. Anyone have any theories about the ending of the show?

I think I heard there are multiple spinoffs planned. None with the same characters as now, though.

I suspend a lot of things because it's a fantasy show....but Gandry running a marathon at usain bolt speed to reach the wall then the raven with subsonic speed of flight, and finally Dragons flying at the same speed all happening in 24hrs.... and where do Zombie white walkers come up with 4 - mile long anchor chains to drag the dragon up from the depts of the lake... they're NORTH of the wall ... nothing up there... but all the sudden they have these chains????? Wtfbbq... I can buy magic, wizards, most stuff the show does can kinda be explained. But my logic meter just broke on these two lazy writing points. Show can't end soon enough for me. These writers are just being lazy now that it doesn't follow the books storyline any more.

And Dany needs to get laid...She sure was eyeballing Jon. And previews show all of them sitting down next episode for a meeting 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

I noticed that too on the travel speed. It's like they wrote in the "fast travel" option from fantasy RPGs.

I agree, the travel speed & chains out of nowhere didn't make a lot of sense...

Costumes were amazing, as usual. I loved Danaery's winter coat.

The chains pissed me off!
I know one of the giants had a chain around his chest, but where did the other two come from and how did they get them around the dragon? All of the "soldiers" that fell into the icy water died, not a single one climbed out to join the fight! Yet all of a sudden...well, you know. (end of mini tantrum)
