Not out of the question with Watt back. Baltimore is good but the Steelers seem to have Jackson's number. If the offense can continue to improve, and the defense can be dominant like it has the potential to be, they can go on a roll.

Chizzy, just like with Devo, why am I not surprised that you don't like him. Some of the Tomlin haters are just spoiled fans with unreasonable expectations. Others, well...
The Steelers were 8-8 with Arians and Lebeau the year before coach Mike took over. You can nit pick all you want, but by any meaningful metric, he's a good coach. Thankfully the guy who matters, Art knows it.

The Browns scare me more than the others because of Nick Chubb. That guy is a tank.

That second half offense was an absolute shit show! Blame to go all away around. Starting with Canada and the guy who hired him. Kenny looks defeated. Do we have the coaching staff to turn this around?

Amen. I had someone tell me recently that the only place Tomlin isn't respected is in Pittsburgh. Lol. Accurate.

The offense put up 30 which should be enough to win. The defense has to take a lot of blame this week.
The bright side is that Pickett played his best game so far. 265 yards, 85.9 passer rating, 1 TD, 0 INT He threw some nice deep passes too. Not spectacular, but he has been improving every week which is what you want to see from a rookie.

Agreed. The O was great for one half and Tomlins defense was its typical underwhelming self. They said on The Fan that $108 Million of our cap is on the starting D. Just the starters.
We’re not getting a good return on that investment.
Looking for bright spots #14 is special.

I'm pretty much for all the coaches being replaced. How many players have gotten better after coming to the Steelers?
Also, the more they (and the Bears) lose, the better their first 3 picks should be.

I don't think Pickett has elite arm talent like a Mahomes, Allen, or Jackson, but according to several respected scouting reports that I've read he has above average arm strength, and to my eyes, it appears to be enough to succeed in the NFL. He's been completing more passes downfield in the past two games, and he completed plenty of them at Pitt. I think a big part of it is that he needs to trust himself and his recievers. Tom Brady never had elite arm talent yet he's the GOAT, and in 2021 at 44 his arm strength surely wasn't even what it once was, yet he still posted a 101 passer rating. Tua's tearing the league up right now without elite arm talent. Andrew Luck had a good although short career without it. I'm sure there are plenty of other examples as well. If KP can keep improving like he has been, I think he will have a lot of success here in Pittsburgh. Roethlisberger said that he'd like to see him develop a better connection to Johnson, and I agree. They definitely need to shore up the pass blocking and unless they put up a few more 30+ point games before the end of the season, I agree about Canada.

Idk, Brady threw the prettiest 50 yard bomb I’ve ever seen. What I mean by arm talent isn’t just velocity. Baker Mayfield has supposedly a great fastball, but he suck’s obviously.
That’s what’s great about sport, we never know until we know.
I hope you’re right and I’m wrong.

I've seen Pickett connect on some nice 50 yard bombs at Pitt, and he threw one to Pickens against the Bengals that went around 58 yards in the air, but Pickens looked over his right shoulder and the ball was over his left shoulder. Not sure who's fault it was but it didn't look like a bad ball. It's just that Pickens then had to do a complete 360 which slowed him down. Pickens also dropped a nice 40 yarder.
Definitely exciting to see how it will play out, and I hope that I'm right too. Not for the sake of being right but for the sake of the team.
