My point is that your opinion had nothing to do with whether Trump or Harris were going to debate.

My other point is that you can’t just always have your own way. That way lies an authoritarian regime. If you want to be successful in your leadership you have to be able to see all points of view and come to some kind of a middle ground. Trump will never do that, EVER.

I’m not enamored of Kamala Harris but I figure she will be more open to compromise than a douche bag like Ol’ Schitzenpants Trump.

That's just your opinion. Harris hasn't proven anything at this point. She hasn't had any substantial interview to state what her policies are and how she'll go about addressing any of the major issues the country faces. As far as a debate goes, yes, I expect there will be a debate. The big question will be who will be the most forth coming on the issues.

Trump had no problem agreeing to that debate date on ABC when it was against a mumbling, bumbling and stumbling Biden. Now it is a different game, and he wants to change the playing field. That's not going to happen.

Harris will be there whether he shows up or not. If he doesn't show up, it only hurts him. If that happens, she should then refuse to debate at another date because when a baby and a convicted felon act out, you don't reward their bad behavior by giving in.
