My introduction to Unicorn poo was in the form of.... Soaping.
A couple of years ago I had the idea hit me, after seeing girls sell "loose mineral eyeshadow" on Fb.... "Hey, can't I make some for myself, too?" led to a chase to "How-To" tutorials, then Whole-sale websites... And micas (the main ingredient) is also a cross-over from Cosmetics into Body Care (as a colorant!) As were MANY of the available items... And many many recipes... and then scents!
(I must admit, I love scent. I'm a sniffer. I sniff clean clothes, air fresheners, soaps, shampoos, deodorants...
Yes, I am the crazy lady in Walmart who is smelling each and every deodorant before buying a new one!) But longer story a bit shorter....
I ended up eye-balling the soaping culture more than the cosmetics... making a few *cough* purchases from the wholesale website...
(A teensy lil $600 order of supplies.... we call that a "haul" in Soap culture.) Joined a "Soaper" group...
And one of the "big deals" was showing off handcrafted soaps (particularly of the Melt & Pour variety. Old school (cold/hot process) soap is more difficult to a point, but the artsy ones are M&P.) And one.... a gal created, tried to trademark, and ... well, was a roaring stink about it, and her almost uncopyable technique... was the girl who made....
