Oh look, Little Miss Gullible hears some anti Obama conjecture on the internets, and falls for it hook, line, and sinker. Kinda like how she read what she thought was an anti-Obama March '09 article on the internets, and assumed it pertained to what happened on June 6 '09.

And kind of like how she fell for........do i need to say it?

It seems the Obamas just luv, luv, luv insulting the British and the crown. Giving the Queen an iPod and giving her a little ole hug!
And you know the British are insulted because, well, because you just know the British are insulted.

The Brits outrage over the Olympic comment is nothing but Setting Sun sour grapes.
Sour grapes? You're projecting.

And the British telling you they're insulted isn't important when you can tell the British when they've been insulted. Whether they agree with you is irrelevant, because you know better than them.

Quote:
Always? Are you sure about that? LOL
Always, as in ever since the Johnson Administration.

Quote:
The one that Obama sent back was a diplomatic gesture from the British. Obama’s good at giving, let’s call them gestures, to everyone that is “beneath” his brilliant intellect and forward thinking ways. But I’m going to back to 90% of the time you have no argument.
All you do is insult Obama with little more than sarcastic comments that have no substance behind them. Your sole argument that Obama sucks is that Obama sucks. Not only do you offer nothing more, but half the time your sarcastic comments are based on what you "know" only because you're as gullible as you've been proven to be. So if i have no argument, it's because in dealing with you, i don't need one.

Quote:
Na, it’s just the bandwidth filling mocking because 90% of the time he has no argument.
Again, you're projecting.

Ms Olivia knows because the Brits said so. Keep equivocating and obfuscating, Doofus, that's your hallmark.

I'm British.

I'm not insulted.

I can't imagine any Britains are insulted.

Let me repeat, this is just tittle tattle to fill newsprint. No true Britain gives a toss. 'British diplomats' are hardly representative of British people, some Torygraph journalists are dinner party amusements, no more.

p.s. why are we not insulted? Because we don't give a toss about Romney, everybody i speak to thinks he's ridiculous. A Mormon? Well, hello, that really is insulting.

We don;t give too much of a toss bout Obama, either. We think al the candidates are ridiculous. Nearly as ridiculous as our own politicians.

That very nice Mr Johnson is a highly intelligent clown. Mr Cameron is a puffed up school prefect. Mr Millipede needs to get a real job. How did Vince Cable ever get a senior job at Shell? etc., etc., etc.,

So, who do the British admire?

Adorable Jess.

Okay. Well then, you have one, solitary Brit that posts his opinion on a SHMB, and then, on the other hand, you have a couple of other groups of Brits with newspapers, i.e., The Telegraph and The Times, who publish their opinion for world-wide consumption.

Not saying your wrong, but guess who gets the most attention?

Well, that is simply about the power of media owners.

If you read Telegraph forums, they are full of people complaining that the newspaper has become no better than a tabloid and good journalism is hard to find.

If you read those newspapers, you would think everybody in Britain is fascinated about who the designer of the Duchess of Cornwall's latest dress was.

Hello, about 0.1% of people in Britain give a toss, or else it is forgotten in a millisecond.

It was well known that a picture of that tart Diana would boost sales. The press generate hysteria, it is an ephemeral distorted picture of what people care about.

People care about jobs, money, death, crime, sex, families etc etc, not Romney's faux pas.

It's not just my view, the rest of my family and their friends would express it much more strongly. You get a funny idea of the British if you get your information from the Time, Torygraph, or television/films.

It's really not about what information the British get from their tabloids. It's about what stories from the British press that the MSM chooses to repeat for their U.S. audience -- in order to generate hysteria. As you know, disclaimers on page three, two days after the initial story will never reach the same audience as the original release.

It's pretty clear that Churchill is quoted more by Americans, and is more highly thought of by Americans, than by the British [because they know more about him].

The thing about British mass opinion in foreign affairs is that they always jump where they're kicked, and generally display a subserviance reflective of their rigid class system.

In the first world war they were easily manipulated into volunteering in huge numbers for the charnal horrors of the front, based on false reports of Hun atrocities in Belgium.

This was not surprising given that the English media had always trumpeted whatever ridiculous line the establishment fed them justifying British military bloodlust against Imperial targets, whether it was the Irish next door or the Boors [whose only crime was that gold which England coveted was found under their feet].

In present times English public opinion is wiser about their establishment's use of force overseas, but it doesn't matter a shit because the English are totally complacent and resigned to whatever their establishment wants to do.

It didn't matter that public opinion was 85% or more against invading Iraq - the government did it anyway and when it happened their soldiers merely saluted and did their jobs.

The thing about the Brits is that they know their place. They know they live in an autocracy when it comes to matters in which they are killed.

British upset that Obama only has one bust of Churchill in WH.

Let's see that headline.

And if Obama had two busts of Churchill in the WH, you'd all be bitching about how that's proof he doesn't believe in American exceptionalism.

Oh, and in today's Telegraph --

. . . This looks awfully like a deliberate snub of America’s closest friend and ally . . .

The Obamas were snubbed and not invited to the Wedding. Nancy attended Charles and Diana's wedding, but Nancy didn't pat the Queen on the head, shove a bust of Churchill up her ass or give her a POS $300 iPod as a nation-to-nation gift.

Yes, that this post is one of your 90% no-argument post.

Why don't you and TAE go play. You both seem to stand on nonsense and hate as your main points.

Peace.
