This whole thing is starting to look kind of weak. The swastika...where is the photo? We video tape everything today and no one took a picture of a non moving target? Strange don't you think? The fallout is starting to cost liberal teachers their jobs and an innocent one or two. Why was that professor (Click) protecting that area? What didn't she want the world to see? Why did she attack the atheist student with the camera? Why did she call for an attack on the Asian student?

It should have been documented being as it contributed to the President losing his job.

This BULLSHIT is about wanting student debt canceled... in other words another entitlement or hand out... fuckers

Student protests roiled college campuses Thursday, when Claremont McKenna College's dean of students resigned under pressure over racial tensions and protesters at more than 100 colleges and universities nationwide demanded the cancellation of student debt.

if the socialized libtards actually get away with forgiving all current student debt then everyone who actually paid off their loans .. like me .. will sue to have that money returned.

besides that, what a wonderful Utopian idea of having tuition free education! not! how exactly are you going to pay for actual buildings? faculty? how? Ah! it's obvious now ..

well .. looks like poor little oppressed Jonathan Butler who pulled this stupid hunger strike .. right like he's Mahatma Gandhi .. is a rich kid! yep, his dad .. who by the very definition of so-called (sic) "White privilege" should not be a senior executive for Union Pacific Railroad, but is!. how much money did daddy make last year ?

$8.4 million

http://www.stltoday.com/lifestyles/c...e16fe05f3.html

Jonathan Butler, a central figure in the protests at the University of Missouri, is an Omaha native and the son of a railroad vice president, the Omaha World-Herald reports.

Butler refused food last week in a move to force the university system's president, Timothy M. Wolfe, from office. Wolfe resigned Monday and Butler ended his hunger strike.

Jonathan Butler played high-school football at Omaha Central High, where he won a state championship, and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Mizzou, the newspaper reports. He is working toward a master’s degree in educational leadership and policy.

He is a member of a prominent Omaha family. The newspaper says that Butler's father is Eric L. Butler, executive vice president for sales and marketing for the Union Pacific Railroad. His 2014 compensation was $8.4 million, according to regulatory filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Eric L. Butler and his wife, Cynthia Butler, serve as pastors of Joy of Life Ministries, the newspaper reported. Along with Jonathan Butler, the couple has two other children.
Butler, who was seen walking on the Mizzou campus on Tuesday, has declined to be interviewed by the Post-Dispatch, other than to say he was feeling better.

Former Mizzu President Tim Wolfe by contrast made a measly $459,000 per year.

so .. this spoiled brat rich kid's dad makes 18 times as much as Mizzu's President. NICE!

but .. but .. White privilege makes this impossible .. right?? AHAHA.

Default old white men have nothing in common with me, but just pay my college bills

how do you interpret the phrase "old white men"?

does it mean I hate America, I hate the constitution, I want to take everything for my selfish self? in addition to meaning I hate white people?

someone needs to slap the shit out of these misguided, uneducated, selfish pipsqueak leftists

The new Gulag Archipelago on our college campuses

By Ray Starmann

http://usdefensewatch.com/2015/11/th...lege-campuses/

Quote:
The following article is not the standard USDW post concerning a defense issue. Nevertheless, I feel that the situation on our nation’s campuses can eventually affect all of us. It has future implications for America and which course the country will take. Will it be one for freedom or tyranny?

During the past week, the nation has witnessed a myriad of lunatic temper tantrums and protests by college students who are demanding an end to free speech on campus, the destruction of the First Amendment and the Constitution and the creation of “safe spaces” where they can be protected against micro-aggressions committed by those that would dare to disagree with our nation’s little Maoists.

At the University of Missouri, a number of isolated, alleged racial incidents and insults led to mass hysteria on campus that forced Timothy Wolfe, the president of the university to resign. This has quickly snow-balled into a wave of political correctness tyranny. Students, led by Marxist, left-wing radical professors like Melissa Quick are demanding an abolition of the First Amendment and the creation of safe spaces, to protect students from whatever imaginary boogeymen haunt them. Quick, who was forced to resign, was ironically an instructor in the media department at one of the top journalism schools in the country.

Besides forcing Wolfe out of office, the students have forced the campus police to instruct students to dial 911 if they feel threatened by hate speech or any other fantastical allusion rolling through their empty brains.

“911, what’s your emergency?”

“Someone is triggering me. They don’t like my shoes. They’re racist.”

“Move to a safe space. A patrol car is on the way.”

“One Adam-12 136 (micro-aggression) in progress…”

“One Adam-12 roger.”

Have we gone certifiably insane as a country?

In an interview with MSNBC, Brenda Smith-Lezama, Vice President of the Missouri Students’ Association, when asked about complaints from professors that universities are becoming “places of censor and prohibition,” said people are using the First Amendment to create a “hostile and unsafe learning environment.”

“I personally am tired of hearing that First Amendment rights protect students when they are creating a hostile and unsafe learning environment for myself and for other students here,” Smith-Lezama said.

Who said communism is dead? It’s alive and well on our nation’s campuses.

The Founding Fathers must be rolling in their graves now.

At Yale, it gets even more absurd. Remember folks, these are actual events. Yale’s Intercultural Affairs Council (yes, they have such a thing) sent out an email prior to Halloween asking that students be thoughtful in their costume selection so as not to offend others. They listed specific examples of costumes deemed offensive, “such as feathered headdresses, turbans, ‘war paint,’ and blackface as examples of inappropriate ‘cultural appropriation and/or misrepresentation’.”

Erika Christakis, Associate Master of Silliman College, responded to the email and defended students’ right to wear Halloween costumes of their choosing, even if said costumes might be considered outrageous, inappropriate, provocative, or even offensive.

Christakis further urged students “not to take offense at insensitive Halloween costumes,” and she told students, “‘If you don’t like a costume someone is wearing, look away, or tell them you are offended. ‘Talk to each other. Free speech and the ability to tolerate offence are the hallmarks of a free and open society’.”

Yale students, however, did not appreciate this attempt to loosen the university’s control over their Halloween costume choices nor the suggestion that they can control their own response to insensitive costume choices by choosing not to be offended or by the simple act of looking away. Indeed, they are now demanding Christakis resign for daring to suggest they should be free to make their own decisions . . . about Halloween costumes.

When her husband, Master of Silliman College, Nicholas Christakis defended his wife’s statements, students responded with screaming tirades, accusing Christakis of not providing safe spaces for them and not protecting them from Halloween costumes that might offend them.

Under the guise of imaginary offenses, these little Maoists are creating the new Gulag Archipelago on the nation’s campuses. Yale and Mizzou and hundreds of other places of higher learning are becoming modern day Pol Pot re-education camps.

Like the Red Guards, the fanatical college age thugs who enforced Mao’s insane Cultural Revolution, today’s college radicals are the enforcers of cultural Marxism and the destroyers of free speech and freedom itself.

What’s the cause of all this? Who’s to blame? Look no further than their Baby Boomer parents and the leftist, do-gooder K-12 educators who have created a walking, talking, protesting Frankenstein monster called the Snowflake Generation.

For the last 25 years, America’s youth have been ridiculously coddled by helicopter parents who spoiled their children, calling them “special snowflakes.” The snowflakes never played except under parental supervision on organized play dates, missing out on key childhood developmental skills like negotiation, organization and settling things without a teacher or parent nearby. At school, the snowflakes were told that tag and dodge ball were too aggressive because they fostered competitiveness. In sports, everyone got a trophy and games had no winners and no scores!

The results: America’s current generation of college students are total wimps who are offended by every whim and fancy on the planet. Everything and anything under the sun is potentially racist and offensive; a potential micro-aggression that can be triggered at any moment, forcing a snowflake to take cover in a safe space until the terrible emotional turmoil of reading something disagreeable like Shakespeare ends.

Give me a break.

The snowflakes are the perfect brainwashed zombies to implement the radical ideas of our nation’s left-wing nut professors. Spoon fed on a diet of feminism, political correctness, and radical women’s studies and LGBT malarkey, America’s college kids are the millennial commissars of fear, shutting down free thought and expression and discussion everywhere they march.

These kids aren’t protesting anything. They’re not like the 1960’s college students who were actually marching against tangible things like a war, the draft, pollution, etc.

These kids aren’t vicars of freedom like Martin Luther King, Bobby Kennedy or Cesar Chavez.

These kids are the leaders of a growing censorship movement.

These kids are book burners.

These kids are the new Maoists.

These kids aren’t at campus protests to debate. They’re there to end debate.

Hopefully, the parents of the "little darlings" co-signed for their education costs and expenses.

the coach stood behind the boycott because he was afraid, he revealed himself not to be a leader but a coward.

he was afraid he couldn't recruit blacks if he didnt bend to wrong

reminds me of greg popovich, the spurs coach, making public large political contributions to Obama..the old go along to get along

If they vote, this crowd will vote for Sanders, or forget it's election day.
