And I also found this http://cap4pets.givezooks.com/events...ap-gala-raffle the car dealership donated a new car 2013 to them for raffle. All the money from the raffles go towards this great place, they are $50 each. I will be purchasing some

In the end I found the dogs STUPID owner, and he went home. I say stupid cause he was not fixed, and had a limp in his leg, and was in the street dodging cars!
That's 3 days too many.

My next door neighbor had a huge pit. Kept breaking out of the fence and terrorizing the neighborhood. Neighbor would deny it was her dog and deny entrance into her house to the police. Finally the police caught the dog outside of the fence and took it away.

Every weekend idiots in Spring/Tomball sit by the side of the road selling pit pups. They need their heads examined.

My first instinct was to not get to close, I was leaving my incall room and was afraid to go out. Then the dog looked at me and ran the other way. I saw the limp, went and bought 2 cans of dog food and calmed my nerves and called him to me with the food on the sidewalk. Once he was eating and not gowling he was so sweet. I was not gonna leave him there. I called the spca and the guy was on the way but called me to say 3 days and I said absolutely not. Dogs are taught to be bad, and this one was not. They told me about Citizens for Animal Protection. A no kill rescue. By that time some one came up and said it was his neighbors dog and I was relieved.

My neighbor had three children all under the age of ten. Did the animal you return to the "bad owner" have small children in the house or neighborhood?

I've known about 6 families who had pit bulls. They ranted and rave how great the dogs were. Not one of those dogs lived to age three.

I thinck I did just call a dog stupid but I don't remember any fights. I do remember how you interrupted a perfectly good thread about me with some useless drivel about dogs being better than cats and making yourself look like a total bitch in the process.

I agree! And I had nowhere to put the dog, and gave it back to the owners neighbor I didn't meet the owner. But however bad the owner was it was better than being put down in 3 days. This was a a really sweet dog, he didn't deserve to die!
