Very well stated young lady. Good luck on your visit. I'm sure you'll represent my hometown well. ;-)

I also will only accept bookings through the official p411 appointment request system. Then when confirming the appointment, the gent MUST agree to the cancellation fee AGAIN just in case he missed it in my ad.
Granted I have not received very many bookings, but that is just fine with me as it seems most just want to waste provider's time anyway. I am very happy not to have to deal with the headaches surrounding a deluge of bookings only to end up with mostly last minute cancellations and ncns.
Having this system in place from the get-go has definitely filtered out the inconsiderate jerks who only want to play childish keyboard games instead of have real BCD fun!
I've advised those who don't have a p411 to send me their references for pre-screening and then contact me during my visit for a short notice appointment.
Thanks for posting this! It has been something I wanted to discuss out in the open but wasn't sure where to post. Lucky I saw it!

So, since things come up that cause both sides to cancel, if you have to cancel on the client for whatever reason - trip cancels, better booking, etc. - are you going to also pay the client a $150 cancellation fee? As stated the NC/NS goes both ways and so do cancellations but if I set an appointment for 2pm and then something comes up with work and I can't get away for the appointment and call you at 10am to cancel that gives you time to book another appointment so why would I pay you a cancellation fee? A NC/NS is totally different than a cancellation. BTW good way to get a lil extra ad in about your visit.

It is a pity that there are those that do not understand the meaning of respect.
Those that do not understand respect generally have no idea of what common courtesy is and are usually offended when it is expected of them. The rest of them just dont give a fuck.

So is it me not understanding the English language, or me not being able to read it? I think it's neither: I think you're trying to WK here & so you'll look for even the slightest miscalculation & focus on that. The real focus should be on those "factual" statistics that just don't make sense.

Speaking of English, here the term common connotes mutual; in this case, a mutual courtesy...so there would be such a thing, if rarely occurring or otherwise...

LMAO, SKF, I hear ya. But my point is that, if 99.9% don't give a shit, either way, then from a business perspective-now I realize that some of these providers may not be in this for the $, so I would exclude these altruists from this point-it is as likely as not that 999/1000 won't show, so they have to plan on that. You know, when they're preparing their quarterly projections and stuff. And those numbers just don't add up to me.
But I'm not a rocket surgeon either, so maybe my mathematical calcifications are off...

If there is " no such thing as common courtesy" ... then how can there be "common courtesy" for one person .... that is different from the "common courtesy" of another?
I suppose the "wild card" is the word "courtesy"!
Some people need to stick to their self-anointed job of "patrolling" for FAT PEOPLE.

Thanks for the kudos on my booking strategy. So far it has worked out well.
As far as collecting fees, I have recieved confirmation from P411 that they will assist in recovering cacellation fees IF ALL THE REQUIREMENTS ARE MET beforehand. There is a topic about it in their resources forum. I made sure I understood it before I moved forward with this strategy. The bigger point is that having the policy in place and a larger entity to back it up will (and has) keep frivolous bookings at bay. I know if someone books with me they are very likely to show rather than waste my time. Purpose served.
I agree about it working both ways. However typically when traveling, I'd think a lady's main focus would be on keeping her appts. I know mine will be. Rescheduling is always an option if something comes up. And like I said in my previous post, I'm advising those who do not prebook (for whatever reason) to give me their prescreening info and then try to schedule a short notice appt on the day and time they find themselves available and want to play. If it's meant to be it will be. Simple as that.
Why should I have my appts booked up and time wasted just because its more convenient for you??? What if you tried to book with a traveling provider on a saturday afternoon but she was already booked up with appts only to have most of them flake? Then there you both are - unbeknownst to the other - totally available with no one to fcuk. At least with my system you have a fair shot (joke not lost there) and neither of our time is wasted.
Btw, if you think my post wasn't in line with what the OP stated or a thoughtful contribution to the topic, something tells me a guy like you knows where the RTM button is. If I wanted to promote my trip in coed there dozens of other threADs I could have dove into. This happens to be a subject of genuine interest to me and directly relates to my Houston trip.
Hate on!

Why don't you contact the staff and ask them. Gina is known for having a fair and objective business model. I've also heard she is hobbyist-friendly which makes sense since they pay the bills.
That being said, I''m sure most people are aware that a provider is earning her livelihood whereas a hobbyist is spending his. It is a direct hit to a provider's INCOME when a city is known for having above average booking issues. Perhaps it would eventually fix itself when providers stop traveling to Houston all together (joke not lost there either).
It's rather absurd to see a hobbyist's wasted time equal a provider's wasted time. It is in our best interest to see clients because it results in more income. On the flip side it is your throw away money and has no bearing on your livelihood whatsoever. Sure it's a hassle but it doesn't effect your income. In reality there are shitty business owners in every industry. Choose wisely.
This isn't kindergarten where everyone gets a piece of candy. This is capitalism - good old fashion Capitalism.

Hate..I don't know you to hate you. I asked a question fair and simple and attitude in your answer is not needed. Remember this is about common courtesy and this is our kinder gentler eccie. As far as the ad it was an ad whether intended or not. You could have mentioned your system without the notice of travel thus making it an ad. If you can't deal with questions without automatically assuming someone is hating on you then dear that is your issue but when you state things such as that policy expect to be questioned. Again no hate here so peace and love and all that kinder gentler shit.
