Unimatrix Zero
I am a lover of the regenerative nature of the hobby, a.k.a. Unimatrix Zero (at least in my easily confused mind...), which is a favorite dream-state destination frowned upon by the conformists of the collective. (Refer to the Voyager series.)
For the adult version of the Wiki explanation (edited for adults-only):
In the surreal, utopian Unimatrix Zero, Borg of various species from throughout the massive geography of the Collective exist as their individual, unassimilated selves and interact with one another as such. While out of regeneration, they revert to normal drones and have no memory of their time spent together there (since it was all a dream, right?). The Borg Queen knows about Unimatrix Zero, considering it a disease, and destroys drones discovered capable of visiting it. However, the process of detecting affected drones is very time consuming, and she is eager to find a faster method of finding and deactivating them. Those who are detected are deactivated, dismembered, and studied in an effort to speed up the search.
The description is uncanny, after a fashion...
So you may anticipate that I'll be warping in to a forum near you...

Petiteassman, I've come to the conclusion that you're just annoying and I'll just ignore you.
Any communication from this point on online or off will have to involve some sort of donation for my time.
My time is very valuable and I will no longer give it to you for free since you do NOT know when someone is being serious and when they're being sarcastic. I'm done.

Mine is pretty realistic down to the little package, infact the sculpture is pretty generous, but other than killing my wife which I don't have it fits me. The sculpture really has no name other than (Gallic chieftan killing himself) He does this to avoid being slaughtered.

I think my board persona is pretty much the same as how I am in person IMO.
I have met a few that were totally opposite of what I expected, the outcome always more positive

I can agree with that. You're still sweet, but more wild like me he he. Ok, maybe it was the alcohol and the redneck Karaoke bar, but just sayin.

That's kinda discribes me. Some of the guys that I meet usually don't post much and just lurk. Some people come out sounding rather aggressive but I don't really think anyone means to be an ass. They're just expressing themselves in a way maybe they may have trouble doing in person.
I am like that myself.
I would like to add that EA is probably one of the nicest person's you'll meet on or off the board.

London.... Do you think that for most of us that who we are when we are on here is more less a part of who we are? Like I get being one way around family and another around friends cause I'm that way as well to a degree.
I understand the anonymity part but for me that's only to prevent outting but not to hide who I am as a person. I also understand that I'm in a different position than you ladies because I don't have to be what someone wants me to be, I get to be myself
Edit to add: Thanks for the compliment LatnRemedy, it's appreciated

Reality is as thin and transient as a wisp of smoke, and everyone sees different shapes in it.
This is probably more the "real me" than the rest of my world could handle quiet honestly. And I ain't liein'.

I especially feel the same on this one
Board persona's might not be a direct reflection of the person behind the keyboard but it sure as hell does create an impression. If someone acts an egoistic way on here it just makes me not want to meet them. I'm sure there are people who feel that way about me but it is what it is, they are free to think of what they want just as I am.
P.s. Shayla baby come down to H-town

For me, its based on interpretations. Sometimes its hard to tell if a person is joking around or coming off an asshole. I've been called an asshole by multiple ladies due to them thinking I'm only picking on em. I will joke around and mess with people, both providers and hobbyists, on the board and in chat. It never bothered me from seeing these same ladies either, they can accept to see me or reject me. It's their choice.
But as far as to whether my persona on the board and in person is the same. For the most part, I think I am, but that's not a really fair judgement. Only those that have met me can make their judgement whether they think I am the same in person and on the board IMO.
