I feel bad for cops because they have to make a split second choice on how to handle a matter. To fire him? No way, nobody was shot, and he didn't hit anyone. For the ones saying fire him, become a cop. Easy to talk shit when you don't live it.

The cop was acting like a stupid fuck head like most cops do and he deserves to be fired. The police chief just made a statement saying the cop was "out of control". The cop resigned, that's good because he has no business being paid to act out his own fucked up ego trip. I don't feel bad for him at all, he got what he deserved.

I was watching the statement made by the police chief and he said exactly what I was thinking. 12 officers arrived on the scene and 11 officers were professional. He said Casebolt was out of control when he arrived on the scene and was out of control throughout the entire video. He said his actions were indefensible. That's saying a lot....police chiefs usually just give the line of we're investigating, we're reviewing it, etc... but he really condemned his actions while praising the other 11 cops that were there.

Just watch the video and this guy was a fucking lunatic. None of the other officers were acting like that. This guy escalated this situation rather than de-escalate it and get it under control. So he basically ruined his career and for what?? Now he's going to have to wonder if he's going to get assault charges.

Just because he's a cop does not give him the right to throw some young 15 year old girl (anybody really) on the ground and shove their face in the ground and put his knee on their back because he didn't like what they said to him. She was no threat and the only thing she hurt was his ego. Now he's out of a job (good luck getting another one anywhere), might lose his TCLEOSE license, and might fact criminal charges.
Fucking douchebag bully. I'm a pretty easy going guy but stuff like that get under my skin.

It's the mentality of some of these ego fuck heads that join the police force so they can act like tough guys. Take their gun and badges away and they become whimpering little bitches. Those kids were real dangerous criminals weren't they.

The officer was borderline out of control most of the extended video and out of control in some parts of it for sure. He was rough with the girl and beyond acceptable. The gun thing though, that's a tough call. It looked like those two boys were jumping at him and I can see where even a more level officer might pull his weapon and then holster it. (which is what happened)

Also, there's plenty of blame to go around from the party organizers, dj, confrontational mom and out of control teens. This doesn't excuse the cop's treatment of the girl but it doesn't make it racist cops vs. black teens either.

Cops in baltimore have their hands tied. Arrests are down. Most cops don't give a crap anymore because if they do their job they get shit over it. crime and murders are skyrocketing. Criminals are taking over the area.

Personally, I'm glad to see the oinkers finally getting their due.
Cops are scared to death of real hardened criminals unless they have a Swat team backing them up. They have no problem bullying the weak.
