Most DA are starting their low life career early. All they care about is their ego and where they are going after leaving their position as a DA. If you really think the majority of the DA cares about the public, you are a fool. There might be some but in general they are just the bottom of the barrel with their maggot life.
I once overheard two DA for traffic cases making bets that they will make this girl wimper in for a plea. Then when I confronted them, they told me they were just joking. This was a male and female DA and obviously just starting.

Yes, but they use words like human trafficing and coerced prostitution to rally the troops, because what spear88 says below, covers quite a bit of ground.

Ultimately if you want to protect sex workers, you make it legal and regulated.

Brooke does have a very valid point. I think there is a significant percentage of street walking girls that are drugged and pimped. Going after pimps I applaud. Going after ladies just earning a living, is society's (both men and women for different reasons) way trying to control women's independence.

Yeah, that whole post was a little out of character. I blame it on Johnny Walker Black Label and the IRS. I was feeling like a bad ass cat cuz I had just jumped out of a perfectly good airplane.
Carry on!

Do you consume Black Label, spar with the IRS, and leap from perfectly good airplanes on a regular basis?
Just asking. But actually I was merely expressing my appreciation for all that the petro-chemical business has done for the Houston-Galveston metropolitan area as a whole!
As the ad says: "We've come a long way, baby"!
The prosecutors and law enforcement personnel who are working to protect our society from criminal elements do not deserve to be demonized and killed just because one disagrees with the laws they are sworn to enforce .... they are contributing to our society by removing offensive elements from it ....
unlike the petro-chemical business, which was the comparison brought up earlier.

It would be awesome if it happened simultaneously.
I wanted to be a DA when I grew up.

How is leaving them with their pimps and addictions ... controlling their "independence"?
Regular observers at the courthouse might perceive their "processing" differently .. even the admonishments by many judges and a "respect" shown by many more who refrain from announcing the basis of their charges in front of a packed courtroom.
What does that have to do with the slaughter of DA's and LE?

I agree to an extent, however, I believe your quote of Olivia's was misinterpreted or out of context.

It is always a possiblity that I "misinterpret" what someone says, but Olivia seems to be the direct and to the point type of person, who are typically difficult to misinterpret....
.... the whole post was "out of context" ... because of the topic of this thread.
$300 an hour cash amounts to about $400 dollars gross per hour. A lady can buy a lot of independence at $400 an hour, even with the overhead bullet to grind on. Just saying.

News Alert LL.....the whole economy in this area is based off the petro/chem industry....always has, always will.

I don't think you'll win over much sympathy here for the individuals in the legal justice system who are usually worse than the ones they prosecute.......Not to mention, this thread has already caused Boardman to hack up a hair ball !!!!

{IMPLIED POINT OF DISTUNCTION}
Going after ladies just earning a living, is society's (both men and women for different reasons) way trying to control women's independence.

She's not saying we should leave women to pumps and drugs, but leave those who haven't befallen such a fate alone to decide how we go about making our income.

I'm not trying to "win" anything, are you?
My preference is to live in a society which changes laws through the structured processes for that purpose, as opposed to slaughtering those who enforce the laws passed and supported by the structured processes for that purpose.
Your assertion, again, that the "individuals in the legal justice system who are usually worse than the ones they prosecute......." .. standard can equally apply to hobbyists and providers on this board, of whom you are one yourself.
I haven't met a prosecutor yet who was accused of hooking up a defendant to a battery, pouring acid all over them, encasing them in concrete in a bath tub, and tossing them in a lake. If you have, then please enlighten me with the prosecutor's name and jurisdiction.
And before you take yourself too far out on that limb, you might want to consider that over the years in which I have observed postings on this and other boards, there seem to be an unusually large number of hobbyists and providers who tout their relationships with both LE and prosecutors (even judges at times) in support of their various "legal opinions" and "insider knowledge" of "how things work in the legal system" ...
..you are trashing their friends!
Please return to guarding the premises and making every effort to avoid trashing up the "neighborhood" any more than you already have in the past 60 plus years.
