#1: Congress will "deal with it"!
#2: How many of those 30 million will NOT go to any "government exchange"?
Texas insurance commission has had a "government exchange" long before "Obamacare"!
If you actually believe "Obamacare" is about "30 million people" getting coverage ..
......... then you are part of the problem and not part of the solution.
Since you brought up the CBO, the recent estimates are that roughly 30 million people WILL REMAIN UNINSURED under "Obamacare" ... when it is fully implemented. So, all this horseshit about "insuring everyone" is an expensive cruel HOAX on the U.S. taxpayers AND VOTERS.

Currently, accoriding to CBO, there are 53 million uninsured persons in the United States, including uninsured illegal aliens. The CBO estimates that in 2022--8 years after the Affordable Care Act has been fully implemented--30 million people will remain uninsured. Under Obamacare, 8 percent of legal U.S. residents will remain without health insurance in 2022, according to CBO. The report was done to assess the fiscal impact of the Supreme Court June Obamacare decision.
“CBO and JCT [Joint Committee on Taxation] now estimate that the ACA, in comparison with prior law before the enactment of the ACA, will reduce the number of nonelderly people without health insurance coverage by 14 million in 2014 and by 29 million or 30 million in the latter part of the coming decade, leaving 30 million nonelderly residents uninsured by the end of the period,” - See more at: http://cnsnews.com/news/article/cbo-....0MJ6Vb18.dpuf

Who made the CBO "God"?
The problem with the CBO is the CBO is using spoon fed stats. Already the CBO has had to adjust its numbers based on reality ... and the fuckin' law hasn't even kicked in ... AS FAR AS THE ACTUAL PROVISIONS ...
what has "KICKED IN" is the impact ..
.... slow job growth, reduction in coverage, increased premiums.
Here's the REALTY ... NO ONE WOKING IN THE CBO will be under the ACA!
NO ONE IN CONGRESS (EITHER HOUSE)
NO ONE IN THE IRS, tasked with implementing it.
NO ONE IN THE WHOLE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT, cramming it down our throats.
"The Secretary" has passed out about 2,500 EXEMPTIONS.
What IS THE REALTY ... the original bullshit was to get the 30 million uninsured .. INSURED!
AND NOW we will end up with 30 million STILL UNINSURED... at a cost of $1.2 trillion in 10 years ... so says the CBO......TODAY!
Let's look at like a "business model" for advertising ...
I'm going to spend $500,000 on an ad campaign that is projected to add 100,000 customers, but the projections show that I will also lose 100,000 customers. Do I spend the $500,000?

LL, there is no snake oil commercial. The bottom line is tens of millions of people who are currently uninsured will be insured. So, if there is 55 million uninsured right now and 30 million who will remained uninsured, then you have 25 million who will be insured. That is consistent with what I said. You tried to spin the numbers and CJ7 caught you. For individuals and or families who are at the poverty level for example (a family of 4 that makes less than 20,000) they will not have to pay the tax if they can't purchase insurance. I never said Obamacare would insure everyone. You are part of the problem because for those who aren't insured right now, your solution for them is just don't get sick or marry someone from Canada. CJ7, good job catching LL trying to spin the numbers. From CJ7's post.

You all seem to have forgotten; before it became the affordable care act it was all about insuring those 40 million people without insurance. Guess they're fucked. Thank you Obama, Nancy, and Harry.

So 30 million will still be uninsured when it kicks in. At what cost $1.2 trillion.
That's from the CBO. If the CBO is spinning .. you brought them up. Not me.
Drink some more snake oil.
BTW: the 30 million "uninsured" number includes those who don't want insurance and can afford it! You can't "make" them sign up for it. You can only tax them the $700 ...
so ... it will cost them $5,000 a year to get it through their employer or $700 if they don't .....
or it will cost them $12,000 a year to get it on their own or $700 if they don't.
Rather than read some blog or whining liberal's opinion ... read the friggin law.
Do you all honestly believe that people forget the original basis for the law as proposed and the dissecting of the 30 million numbers being thrown around to support it?
The CBO is now providing the accounting to show the law did not do what was intended....but it has cost the taxpayers a shit load of money and will into the future until it is defunded and kicked to the curb.

HERE'S YOUR SIGN!
Now, did you post that or ....
............... was someone else on your computer?
If you posted it ... so did your hero on "his" website .... except he didn't add the bullshit .... "can't get insurance where they work" .. THAT WAS YOUR BULLSHIT. Here is what was posted at the White House website:
Counting the Uninsured: 46 Million or “More than 30 Million”?
Posted by Peter Orszag on September 10, 2009 at 02:52 PM EDT
"Last night, President Obama stated: "We are the only democracy—the only advanced democracy on Earth—the only wealthy nation—that allows such hardship for millions of its people. There are now more than 30 million American citizens who cannot get coverage."
"Today, the Bureau of the Census released the most recent data on the number of uninsured Americans. The report, Income, Poverty, and Health Insurance Coverage in the United States: 2008, reveals that 46 million people were uninsured in 2008, the last year for which there are data. These data are based on the Current Population Survey. With two different numbers, there has been some confusion as to which is accurate. Well, both are -- and the President's version is more focused on the relevant target population for health reform since it excludes unauthorized immigrants.
"The Census report indicates that of the 46 million uninsured individuals, 34 million were native born and 2.8 million were naturalized citizens. The report thus shows that there were 36.8 million uninsured U.S. citizens (native born and naturalized) in 2008. An alternative calculation includes legal immigrants, which based on a figure from the Pew Hispanic Center would bring the total to something like 39 million.
"Some ambiguity surrounds how to treat individuals who are already eligible for public insurance programs like Medicaid and S-CHIP but do not enroll in those programs, which estimates from the Kaiser Commission on Medicaid and the Uninsured suggest may amount to millions of individuals. These individuals are uninsured but some interpretations would suggest they should not be counted among those who "cannot get" coverage. Subtracting them from the total would produce a number closer to 30 million.
To be conservative, the President thus stated that "more than 30 million American citizens" cannot get coverage."
http://www.whitehouse.gov/omb/blog/0...ethan30Million
Where does it say ... "can't get insurance where they work" .. ?????
So the target is roughly 30 million for coverage ... according to Obaminable in 2009! That was the focus group!
So contrary to you loud mouths ... the "3 mustard-tears" .... or would that be "stooges"? .... Obaminable cranked up his liberal bullshit, snake oil, salesmanship with the help of Nancy and Harry to visit a fraud on the backs of the U.S. taxpayers .. there were three lies to the U.S. taxpayers that were fundamental to the legislation:
1. 30 million people were to be removed from the uninsured rolls ..
2. the cost of insurance to the taxpayers would be reduced
3. medical costs would be reduced.
then add to that ..
4. would promote job growth
5. would not increase the deficit, but would reduce government spending, which would help the deficit.
In other words it was the "Correct-All" for the financial condition of the country and the taxpayers.
That's the snake oil!
BTW: Here is what the White House posted as to #3:
"Our Administration is committed to bringing down health care costs. That’s why we’re moving quickly and carefully to implement the Affordable Care Act and deliver the benefits of reform to the American people."
http://www.whitehouse.gov/blog/2011/...lth-care-costs
But it ain't gonna happen ... you 3 stooges!
http://www.cms.gov/Research-Statisti...roj2011PDF.pdf
Read the fine print on why premiums are increasing, sevices decreasing, employer benefits decreasing.
One can't see the "pea" if one only looks at the shells.
"On a per enrollee basis, premium growth is expected to reach 7.1 percent in 2014, up from 4.1 percent in 2013, as a result of more generous health plans being offered to people eligible for government subsidies. For 2015-21, growth in private health insurance premiums is projected to slow somewhat and to average 5.9 percent annually, in part due to an expectation that some large employers of low-wage workers will discontinue coverage, resulting in their employees gaining coverage through Medicaid or the exchange plans."
So because of the Act employee based insurance will be less available ... so there will be an increase in the original 30 million projected by Obaminable. ... he Obaminable will be packing his bags when it happens.
Just like he did in Chicago while "organizing communities" ... he didn't "finish" the job.

For you ignorant shits that think it is a bad thing that people are taxed 700 dollars if they do not get health insurance. remember that these folks use the healthcare system in the way of ER treatment. They should at least be taxed for this service if they choose not to get insurance.
LL does not understand wtf a win win is. Either these folks get insurance or at the very least , taxed for not doing so. He is talking about a good thing and to damn ignorant to realize it!

Putting aside that you mentally lack the capacity to identify 'ignorance" ....
.. this discussion has NOTHING to do with whether someone gets hit up for $700 ....
since "the Secretary" has already issued 2,500 exemptions .. and still going ...
this discussion is about the NONSENSE of spending an additional $1.2 TRILLION of the taxpayers' money to ....
insure 30 million people and then uninsure 30 million people with the same legislation!!!
It's also about lying to the U.S. taxpayers ... about the "value" of the legislation ... to get it passed.
In the old fashion MO of WTF he diverts attention away from the real issues ...
..... to a non-issue.
On another subject, but similar logic, Jesse Jackson had a "summer work" idea for "inner-city children:" (his politically/social correct term for African-American kids in the city) .. provide "make work' jobs for them making minimum wage, which was about $5 an hour at the time, so they wouldn't get jobs slinging drugs or running "bag" trips on bicycles. Fucking brilliant!
Even a 12-year-old with an old rusty bike can do better math than that ... let's see ...
One hour to run this paper bag 1/2 mile down there and come back with $$ for "the Man" will get me $100 for the errand ... no taxes or other deductions and its cash in my pocket now ... OR should I work about 25 hours in the hot sun cleaning up garbage at the park at $5.00 an hour with deductions out of the pay, which comes in a check next week?
Just so you can get the "connection" ... to HEALTH CARE INSURANCE today ... ACA ...
"so ... it will cost them $5,000 a year to get it through their employer or $700 if they don't .....
or it will cost them $12,000 a year to get it on their own or $700 if they don't."
It will cost the employer $700 a year per employee if employer doesn't provide insurance or
....... $5,000 a year for each employee if the employer provides insurance.
Since the employer is interested in a profit ... let's see now ... what would help that goal?
Like I said WTF .... how on Earth would you be able to identify "ignorance"?????
You can't even do math!............that's why I asked you who kept your golf card on the course!
WTF: A problem of yours is you think a "lose-lose" is a "win-win" ... did you "win-win" $200 on your bet?
