How about.....

- people who quote out of context? I know, I know - it makes it more fun. Objectivity and realism are rarely entertaining. But I challenge all who read this thread to go back and read the stuff in "Alerts." Not just the thread I went off in. Get the whole perspective. Read all of the stuff I have posted there over the years. I have suggested/advised/pleaded/guided and begged that this ONE area be used properly. I let you go off in almost every other forum and thread. Yet this last one.... over 3 pages of crap. It dilutes the legitimacy and usefulness of the whole area. It is the one place on the board where I really tried to help the average guy. And I don't think it was all that surprising or unfair that I snapped after all that time.

- how about....people who violate the rules over and over and over.... and then can't handle it when they get slapped for it? Gawd, man up.

- how about.... the same old bunch of out-of-area shills piling on to every negative thing that can possibly be said about the Mods? (and thinking that they are being "constructive" and "telling it how it is")

- how about... people that you have done a whole shitload of favors for (and given a whole bunch of leeway to) that don't extend you the same courtesy? Sleep well.

- and lastly.... how about the duplicity, arrogance, and hypocrisy of a bunch of people who are on a board to talk about hookers and fucking, yet pretend they are offended when bitched at in a rant. But I know that for what it really is - an excuse to pile on. You aren't really offended. You just want to take advantage. Never miss the opportunity to bash a Mod.

I'm not gonna spend a lot of time defending myself over the next few days. Take your shots, have your vents. I'd like to say that in times like these, your friends become obvious and they have your back - that there are a few out there who understand the big picture of what you are about and appreciate the good more than the ocassional bad. But I am becoming more and more disappointed that this does not seem to be the case. Some of you have greatly disappointed me.

BTW, I have spent too much time on this board today, and I am too lazy to change my avatar or signature. But as of this writing...

My Moderation access is turned off. I have not been notified by anyone on Staff why this is the case. But in effect, I am not a Moderator at this time. I do not know whether this is permanent or not. Again, I have not been told.

Now.... have at it. Post your thoughtful rebuttals. I have real work to do and I am going to ignore all of this for a very long time. A very long time.

And another "seriously?!" fucking moment that, yes, really ticks me off.

Due to recent family emergencies, hobby time and $ have been extremely limited. I finally, FINALLY get a small window of opportunity and enough scratch together for a fucking AMP visit. (I like and need a massage lol) and before dropping the SO off to her gawd damn nail appointment (my window of opportunity) she drops a cherished earring down our damn sink drain!

OK I'll just grab the shop vac and suck it out. Simple right? I can then shave shower and boogie off to a sorry excuse for an AMP. (The sorry state if Buff AMPs is yet another thing that pisses me off, but I digress.)

Well the shop vac (surprise!) didn't work, the pipe is a pain in the ass to get at due to location, and I can't even see the damn thing anymore! WTF!?!?!? Aaaaaagh!

Now I gotta play contortionist and try to get it apart and pray I can find the damn thing! I won't have any time left and when done I'll really need the fuckin massage! Grrrrr! The really pissy thing about all of this: THIS ISN'T THE FIRST TIME SHE HAS DONE THIS! WTF Really how hard is it to remove items you'd rather not lose AWAY from the drain of death!?
