I am surprised you had to ask why.

Anti-American Marxist? Riiight... Every time you say that, a little redneck kid in Mississippi loses a tooth!
How does transforming the country into a third world debtor nation benefit the President? and exactly when did he suggest disbanding our military.
You make less and less send with every verbal ejaculation. You're not just a slanderous liar, you're a fucking stupid one!
You can't prove any of those statements, not even with grocery store tabloid porn.

It is a no brainer. Obama was raised by American haters and has associated with American haters his entire life !
It is the only rational explanation for his destructive spending, expansion of unfunded entitlements, growth of centralized government, demonetization of capitalism, and his divisive politicking. Obama is purposefully sabotaging our economy and the middle class dream. He is turning us in to a feudal society.

That is a FREE blog (in other words, a disposable) called "The B.S. Report". the worst kind of tabloid porn. Im not surprised it is your path to understanding.
My advice to you Flounder is to start drinking heavily.
You are the craziest motherfucker on the board. Hope you don't own a gun!

PJTV media may be free; but look at the trash you paid for when you bought "Dreams Of My Father"....talk about a waste of a working man's dime (or more accurately $26 at Amazon).

It's also a shame to put money in Obama and Bill Ayer's pockets.

Do the math. How long can this continue? How much debt can we run up before it all falls apart? We are being propped up by an out of control Federal Reserve. At some point, with all the money in circulation, the dollar will lose value. That is simply a fact. The more dollars there are in circulation, the less they are worth.
You can have your own opinions, but you can't have your own facts. Those are facts.
And the Rose-Colored Glasses KarlMarxRoxny is wearing doesn't change anything. There is no indication from either side that they want to do anything about the coming crisis. This will not end well.

I do think a substantial percentage left wingers sort of disengage from reality. It's a kind of madness.
Characterizing fears of a financial collapse as fear mongering is an example the left's madness. The financial path we are on will result in a catastrophic result. It's not subject to debate. The left seems to think that if we just wish hard enough, we can go on running huge deficits forever, with no bad outcome.
There is a concept in psychology called magical thinking which I think partly explains the left's irrational belief system.
From Wikipedia:
Magical thinking is thinking that one's thoughts by themselves can bring about effects in the world or that thinking something corresponds with doing it. [1] It is a type of causal reasoning or causal fallacy that looks for meaningful relationships of grouped phenomena between acts and events. In religion, folk religion, and superstition, the correlation posited is between religious ritual, such as prayer, sacrifice, or the observance of a taboo, and an expected benefit or recompense. In clinical psychology, magical thinking is a condition that causes the patient to experience irrational fear of performing certain acts or having certain thoughts because they assume a correlation with their acts and threatening calamities.

You saying that "You can have your own opinions, but you can't have your own facts" is so incredibly hypocritical on your part that it defies belief.
Carry on.

Where in the Constitution does it talk about needing a military to project global influence? Would that not be the action of a despot rather than a republic. I do not want the military to protect the ability of some politician to bully some other nation into doing what those that gave him the money to get elected want. I want the military to protect my rights from being infringed upon by all enemies both foreign and domestic.
"Support and defend the constitution against all enemies both foreign or domestic."
I am quite certain I recall saying those words a few times. I do not recall caring about global influence.

The fact is, Timmy, that we can't keep spending like we do, and expect everything to remain the same. That is simply a fact.

I bought my copy of "Dreams of my Father" at a library sale. It cost 50 cents. The year before I bought a copy of "Fugitive Days: A Memoir" by Bill Ayres for 50 cents. That way I can compare them and know that they werre both written by the same person. I would still like to get a copy of "Winter Soldier" by John Kerry. They are nearly impossible to get since they have been collected by persons unknown. I was able to borrow a copy form the University of Nebraska. Very eye opening to see the lies and fakery that was being passed off as the real story in the 70s.

Make no mistake. The global strength of our military has been the reason for a century of sustained economy growth that has benefited millions of Americans (and others), lifting all boats, over multiple generations. The global influence of the dollar as THE world currency was in no small part due to our power (military).
I consider that a good thing. True, we have engaged in military operations that we shouldn't have (in hind sight), but net net, our track record has been positive for the world. (unless your in the "America Is An Evil Colonial Empire" camp like Obama).

Empires collapse when the bounty their military procures no longer meets the expense that military costs to obtain it. Of course they have already morally collapsed when they project their strength over others who do not seek it. But then that is the nature of man, all man.
Europe and Russia and Japan were bombed into submission. Of course we did well economically after that. How could we not? There are to many factors to discuss for our rise but plentiful oil was a major reason too. Prospects are looking up once again in that regard, maybe now will will not have to project such military might trying to obtain that resource. We are not near as broke as some might have you believe.
We just need to readjust our focus. That is hard for those of a more conserative POV to do. They are scared of change more than liberals but that is what is needed at this point in time, IMHO.
