Default Yes I take my gun to every session

Yes I always take my gun to every session. It is well concealed usually in my pants. It is always loaded with highly explosive liquid rounds which can also be used in protein shakes.

It needs little bit of pump action to discharge. Unlike the shot gun, it takes several pumps to discharge. But ...... it never jam.....

Targeting system is not very precise so sometimes I have to reload for second round. And it usually takes 15-20 mins to reload, of course it varies with who and where I am aiming.

Here is my gun.

It depends on what he is trying to conceal and how he is dressed. A heavy leather jacket works well if it has enough 'body' to it. A medium sized day planner can work for warmer weather. Fanny packs should have a neon sign attached announcing that you have a gun.

I am always amazed at people who say "why are you carrying a gun to _____.? Are you expecting trouble?"
Of course I am not expecting trouble. If I expected trouble, I wouldn't go to that place to begin with. Common sense.
I carry a gun EVERYPLACE that I legally can for the simple reason that none of us can ever know when or where UNEXPECTED trouble might arise.

Yeah but if you take it in to the session and take it off you have potetially set yourself up for someone using your own weapon against you.

Tikkler I understand your reasons but what about the fact that your are carrying while committing a crime. That escalates everything. I'm not condemning you for doing it just wondering what your thoughts are.

I have never brought my weapon to a session and really never even considered it simply for that reason. I leave it in my vehicle which I guess could have it's own consequences.

Unfortunately this isn't a topic which you can discuss with your instructor during your CHL class.

Excellent point, boardman. It all goes back to the old saying "I'd rather be tried by 12 men than carried by 6." We all weigh the consequences of carrying or not carrying and make our decisions accordingly.

Then why bother with getting a CHL in the first place?

Because if I have a CHL, then there is an assumption that I am carrying legally. Other charges may be considered, but at least I am not automatically breaking the law. If I carry without a CHL, I am automatically in violation of the law.

Wrong.

Texas Penal Code
Sec. 46.02. UNLAWFUL CARRYING WEAPONS. (a) A person commits an offense if the person intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly carries on or about his or her person a handgun, illegal knife, or club if the person is not:
(1) on the person's own premises or premises under the person's control; or
(2) inside of or directly en route to a motor vehicle that is owned by the person or under the person's control.
(a-1) A person commits an offense if the person intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly carries on or about his or her person a handgun in a motor vehicle that is owned by the person or under the person's control at any time in which:
(1) the handgun is in plain view; or
(2) the person is:
(A) engaged in criminal activity, other than a Class C misdemeanor that is a violation of a law or ordinance regulating traffic;
(B) prohibited by law from possessing a firearm; or
(C) a member of a criminal street gang, as defined by Section 71.01."

That's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about actually carrying a gun on my body in other places besides my home or my car.

im a real nice person and easy to get along with, i have no pimp, no BF, no thugs hanging around tryn to rob you, so if you wanna bring your weapon in, and try something with me, just be prepared to get something back
