I original posted this to 'Now hiring for Sugar Daddy'...however, I see the same misinterpretation occurring so I believe it is in need of being repeated. I will approach this topic tenderly as not to hurt feelings...as it is with respect that we receive respect, unfortunately most here have the definition of SD/SB slightly misconstrued. The particular dynamic of this Relationship is as old as the Hobby itself, lets start by what it is not and that is a Paycheck in lieu of seeing many Gentleman to just seeing one...a true SD/SB Arrangement is a Sponsorship with certain Benefits. Simply put its a Hand-Up from your 'Present Situation' to a Life-Goal your attempting to attain...a true Sugar-Baby brings something to the table other than an outstretched palm and empty Bank-Account.

Since you reprinted this here, I'll reprint my response. There is more to any woman than an outstretched arm and an empty pocket book. In fact, even her feminidity isn't all of who she is. The real SB doesn't need to have the first two but if she doesn't bring the third given an appropriate period of time, there isn't anything for the gentlemen in the deal. In the true SD\SB relationship there is something for both people.

Walking around the local college campus does give you an idea of what is out there. However, most of those ladies are looking for a BF, can't picture themselves in the sack with a 40+ man, and often carry with them a hint of morality. Some things in life haven't changed. While young women today are more open about their sexuality and definitely more likely then their mothers to find someone just to hook up with, when it comes to being with an older gentleman or worse being a third party to a married man, they are hardly competition for SB. If a man is single, there are plenty of dating sites he can meet people at and he can screen out the prudes. If a man is married and well to do things become much more difficult if the couple aren't in to swinging. It takes a unique kind of woman to want to have her own life and still be there for an attached man. In the end, most of the SD\SB relationships end up to be sex for material things. While they aren't on a per hour or contractual basis, let the money or the sex go away and the relationship disappears also. College girls mostly don't have a clue and surely aren't interested in what we are discussing here. They certainly aren't competition if the quarry is an older gentlemen with funds. It doesn't surprise me that many SD hide their marital status.

No truer words spoken! I am one of those 40+ married guys who recently spent the evening with a wonderful young lady. We discussed a future relationship that I look forward to see blossom. Yes, she has some needs,albeit not all financial. Some look for more than just the financial support an older gentleman can offer.

You described several women I work with exactly. The problem is, they have their pick of rich guys their own age wanting to marry them...they aren't looking for a lopsided sugar relationship...

I have a couple of ladies that meet the criteria as well but they love thier freedom.

I have been interviewing women for 2 months now trying to find the right one, and he has seen a few candidates. We will see who is the right one.

Freedom...Exactly. What exactly does he have to offer as a sugar daddy that simply dating a generous rich guy doesn't? I would guess he's paying to exclusivity and to have the power. But what is she getting?

I'm trying to brag...not at all...but in my younger years I fit your description EXACTLY...right down to my long brown hair, light hazel eyes, and DD cup natural boobs. 5'8" and 128# with a degree from a top university, etc.

You know who I dated? Professional athletes, young doctors and lawyers, the heir to an auto company...blah blah blah. And they all spent a whole lot of time and money on me. One gave me a car, a couple my own AMEX card, etc. But I didn't feel like I was on the payroll. I felt like I had a say in things and my opinions were valued.

At that time, I don't know why I would have given up any freedom.
