But providers are at least as individualistic as normal people (sorry, providers...couldn't resist messing with y'all) and their reasons for doing anything vary from the mundane to the wildly idiosyncratic. A retired girl I keep contact with told me she went nba because the old "pride of bitterness" schtick got to be too tedious. Of course I have no way of knowing where that came from but my guess is it probably came from one extremely annoying client. Beats me. But she obviously didn't want to enlarge upon her explanation and I didn't want to annoy her with my curiosity.

Haven't read the new superfreakenomics book. Sounds interesting though if they do indeed have a chapter on how much John's pay or negotiate based on race. I guess I'll go pick it up as I loved the first book.

I do know that most well respected providers DO NOT have an NBA policy. I read the girls forums all the time and I don't hear many complaints about black guys. NBA policies seem to be most often espoused by CL/BP chicks who don't really screen that well. I wish one of them would get on here and defend her own policy.

Why do you think there are stereotypes? Where do they come from? Are they just made up BS? If there is some validity in them , then you see why some providers do what they do. I believe in economic reasons for most things. That is not black nor white but green.
