Pho originated in North Vietnam, and it is cooked differently (yes, better) in the North, vs. the South.. more spices, flavors.. specifically more ginger.. almost all Pho one has at North Texas restaurants are Southern-style, with bean sprouts, lime, and cilantro (those are not added in Northern Pho recipes).. btw, the Vietnamese word for lime is exactly the same as lemon, so you often hear a waiter ask if you want lemon, you say "yes", and he will bring you a lime..

That is a good one. I go there, mostly during cold season. I love pho with brisket, tendon and tripe. ....and love the iced French roast coffee too... So which place is the absolute winner in the Dallas and suburbs area?

I recently went to Pho Empire in Irving. Ordered the vietnamese beef stew, bun bo kho, freakin the bomb. You guys need to move beyond pho.

I used to hit an amp, just on the opposite corner, Pure Massage, half a year or so ago and get FS in a L1 place. Now that was like a challenge you had to work on , not like these comfy Dallas spas ...
