A mask doesn't stop you from getting infected. People who think wearing a mask is some kind of barrier against anything is utterly retarded and pretending.

There is no escaping this virus. Everyone will get it at some point or another. A lot of people most likely already had it, didn't know they had it, recovered from it, and have antibodies to it.

If you're too afraid of a virus that has an over 99.9 percent of recovering from, stay the fuck inside.

Some people have a better chance of surviving it. Some people aren’t so lucky. 5% death rate overall.

It’s proven mask work all over the world.

A lot of these young ones will probably get real sick but survive it but they probably brought it to their moms and dads On Father’s Day. So we may see a spike it hospitalizations next couple of weeks.

Biggest unknown is what long term effects this have on young kids. When they hit 60s.

The death rate is not 5% not even close. It's literally less than one percent.

The only thing the mask does is prevent you from getting others sick. Not the other way around.

A lot of people could have had it and never realized it.

This virus isn't the end of the world the media makes it out to be.

Also, if there was any incident that caused a spike, it would be the protests and riots.

Should anyone listen to your fear-mongering?

Fauci said we would have over a million deaths in two weeks during late March/April.

We didn't get anywhere near that.

Judge Jenkins thought we would have 300K deaths WITH lockdowns in Dallas. We didn't get anywhere near that.

Every apocalyptic forecast people were talking about before all the racist crap started was wildly off.

It's funny how easily people are swayed.

Covid didn't kill the whole population

Democrats/media said everyone is racist. That didn't work out.

Suddenly we're back to Covid again.

If you are buying into the repeated narrative, I've got land to sell you.

The only reason we are not at a million death right now is because New York, New Jersey and Connecticut did a good job of containing it.

This thing is far from over. 1 million may become a reality if these current states don’t get theirs under control.

World deaths 500k out of 10 million cases equals 5%
US deaths of 127 k out of 2.6 million cases equals 5%.

You're calling NY being like 40 percent of the known cases in the US a good job at "containing" it? And Cuomo sending infected to the senior centers where they died, a good job "containing" it? Get real.

And how do you keep things under control? Lockdown? For how long? Because the moment things get opened up again, cases will go up. This virus isn't going away. If you're thinking we should wear masks for the rest of our lives or lock down until we get some miracle cure, you're going to be waiting for a long fucking time.

Your statistics don't take into consideration the age of the infected, the numbers of people who aren't tested and are still infected and the glaring fact that people who die WITH covid aren't dying BECAUSE of covid.

Long story short, if you're an old fuck, stay inside. But don't treat younger, healthier people like they're you. They're not.

Those aren’t my stats. Those are the stats. There may be more cases but there are also more deaths that are not classified that should be.

Young people getting it is far worse. Old people get sick and have to go on ventilator. Young people fight through it an spread it to more people. Their multiplier is much higher. Lot of them don’t give a fuck who they get sick.

Those are simplified stats that don't take into consideration so many angles like age, pre-existing conditions, and health. A blanket statistic like that does nothing. The nuances absolutely matter.

Young people getting it is not worse. A LOT of young people probably already have it or had it and didn't even realize it. An old person getting it is more complicated because their lungs and overall physical condition might not be what it used to be.

Granted, young people should try their best to prevent spread, but at the same, it's unrealistic to shove them into the same precautionary category as those who are at higher risk.

What I'm curious is, why haven't the media reported on preventative measures such as exercising more regularly (seriously, you can work out at home with Youtube and it costs nothing minus the internet), eating healthy and taking important supplements like vitamins?

It is a known fact that sunlight is actually beneficial in not only killing the virus but, in general, your health. Where is the media telling you to go out and walk for an hour a day? That goes a long way in health.

Instead, the media is pushing lockdown.

They're not pushing getting healthier as a measure in combatting covid.. but lockdown.
