Olivia, before you embarrass yourself any further, do yourself a favor and re-read both my post 15 and my post 17 in this thread. Note that when i quote Romney, in neither instance did i punctuate the end of his comment with a period. I didn't punctuate the end of the quote because i knew damn well it wasn't the end of the quote.
Frankly, i didn't care if people knew the quote was out of context (since that was the whole point) and i didn't care if people knew that i knew it was out of context.
I'm sorry to sound harsh, but are you really this thick?

Ok, i'll go slow. I didn't say i masterminded anything. I alluded to this in post #57. My sole intent in starting the thread was simply to point out that even someone's
literal words can be twisted in a way to mean something they clearly weren't intended to mean. No more, no less. In fact, i expected the conversation to center around nothing more than how my out of context "interpretation" of Romney's quote was somehow "different" than your characterization of Obama's quote.
So with that, given the context of our other on-going discussion at the time, as well as how clearly obvious it was that i was taking Romney's words out of context, (as well as my posts taking a COG quote out of context) imagine my surprise when i saw that you were actually gullible enough to think i was being serious. So i played along with your gullibility for a few posts, and when you left an opening for me to point out what a fool you were, i pointed it out.
So think what you want. I didn't misunderstand Romney, and i didn't set a trap for anyone. Your making a total fool of yourself was entirely your own doing and I had nothing to do with it. Just as it was in the D-Day thread when all i did was post a link from June 7th about June 6th, while you ignored it choosing to post your own link from March 30th thinking it referred to info relative to June 6th.

Again, think what you want - i'm not too concerned about what you wanna think my reasons are. Though i'll add, if your recent history is an example of the level of what goes on in there, then frankly, even JD Barleycorn and IB Hankerin seem to be more worthy adversaries than anything in the spider hole. And believe me, that's sayin' somethin'.
