I am trying to understand the whole point of this thread? Is it why the big fuss about people not standing for the National Anthem, when they sit at home and watch it on TV?
GOOD!! Then stay on the subject matter....getting "shots" on other members is not the reason or did I miss something?

Why should there be any fuss? The admonition to stand respectfully applies to those in attendance.
Those not in attendance - such as Colin Kaepernick, these days - need not stand.
