Isn't the GOP the same group that wanted to defame the Trump dossier and other reports that went through the FBI, but now this one is sanctimoniously awesome, truthful and factual!

Your comparison between the Steele dossier and this FD-1023 interview report is specious. First, no one is claiming the statements made by the CHS (Confidential Human Source) in the FD-1023 are 100% “truthful and factual”. That remains to be determined. Second, the Steele dossier was used by the FBI in multiple submissions to a FISA court to obtain warrants to spy on the Trump campaign and the early Trump administration! The FBI swore that the Steele dossier had been fully corroborated & verified when in fact it was not. Surely you can see the difference and would agree that the FBI abused its authority by lying to the FISA court.

It really shouldn't be that hard to demand these text messages etc if they are to corroborate a distribution to the Bidens. And that would be your smoking gun.

Hey eye, I will give you an A- simply for reading the document and commenting on it. (Sorry tommy, I have to give you an F for not completing the assignment.)
You are correct that the statements recorded in the FD-1023 are uncorroborated. At this point I'm an agnostic when it comes to their veracity. That means I’m keeping an open mind either way. You’re inclined to believe they are false, but that’s mostly a (partisan) hope on your part. Generally speaking, I don’t trust Ukrainians to tell the truth. The country is thoroughly corrupt. Heck, that’s why the Bidens targeted it for payola in the first place.
Two points - 1) You say it shouldn’t be hard to corroborate the FD-1023 allegations. I beg to differ. It IS hard when all of your requests are being stonewalled. The White House is refusing to turn over the 82k pages of emails Joe Biden sent/received using various pseudonyms. The former Burisma CEO Zlochevsky has disappeared. He’s either in hiding or dead. He told the CHS he has 17 recordings of phone conversations with the Bidens, including 2 with Joey. If that’s true, is anyone curious to hear them? I am. And let’s not forget what Zlochevsky is reported to have said about the $10 million he claims he paid in bribes: “it would take them (investigators) 10 years to find the records (i.e illicit payments to Joe Biden).” My guess is the money, if it was paid, is sitting out there in an offshore LLC somewhere, not yet distributed, in order to give Joey plausible deniability if found. All of this explains why the allegations are not easily verified.
2) My second point is that the FD-1023 strongly refutes the silly refrain that the House Committee has “no evidence”. They have already rolled out plenty of evidence of wrongdoing by the Bidens, lots of it pointing to the President’s direct knowledge of, involvement in and facilitation of corrupt payments to his family. The FD-1023 may be uncorroborated, but it still constitutes EVIDENCE.
Kudos to you for being willing to say it’s “worthy of looking into”. Please explain this to all the other posters here who keep stupidly saying there’s no evidence.
