I wasn't implying. Class has little, if anything, to do with money.

And it's obvious that the institution of "higher" learning on attended (regardless the number or the number of times) has little, if anything, to do with their "class"! I I do take note that some folks need a lot of paper on the wall.

Perhaps one day the relationship to child support will become apparent.

I have this intuitive notion that 20 to 30 seconds before sticking it in without any protection the guy doesn't really evaluate and calculate how much it will cost if this time she gets pregnant.

Now an "accountant" would ... and fill out a spread sheet* on it.

*Just occurred to me where that term may have been derived. Something to do with fucking.

He wouldn’t know a spread sheet from a bed sheet.

I didn't think "having the money" was an issue. He was living with his parents. Supposedly he was making money under the table or taking cash jobs. My wife got a few grand from IRS tax refund. The state never tried to garnish his wages from what I can tell.

My understanding was if he showed up in Family Court and refused to pay the judge would throw him in jail regardless.

The paper the judgment is printed on is too slick to wipe your ass.

Especially your Ivy League one.

You really shouldn't be offering legal advice in chat rooms.
I'm assuming you mean the judgement is meaningless. Hey, LL clear out your mailbox.

I'm going to go ahead and assume that he hasn't had any income that's going to show up on an income tax report... otherwise he would have been easier to garnish and there would have been the opportunity to at least snatch any tax refunds he may have been eligible for-- including that stimulus payment that went out this year. If he has the sort of family that is willing to hide him.. he probably has the sort of family with the means and ability to pay him under the table.

If Child Support Collection companies aren't positive about it... then there is a boatload of issues under the surface... they love the opportunity to at least fake positivity in the hopes of earning commissions.
Fairly accurate. My hope was the judge threw him in jail for a few days. His parents might of thrown some money at his problem. They live in a modest home in S. Houston with a large barn on several acres.

They biggest betrayal was the step daughter's inviting him to the wedding my wife and I paid for. She's bought into his bullshit that her mother(my wife) refused to marry him and wouldn't allow him to see the her. Nope, the deadbeat hid for decades.

Again, men don't need to pay child support. Just ignore all the summons.

If he was living with his parents, he probably does not have any money. I haven't lived with my parents since I was 17 years old and graduated from high school. That guy doesn't have any money.

I have friends and family who combined owe me more than 6 figures that I've loaned them. I can kiss that money goodbye. They'll never pay me back and I'm not going to even bother taking them to court because it would be the same as being awarded judgements from a bunch of bricks. And last time I checked, bricks have no money so it would be a waste of my time and effort. That money is gone but fortunately, they are as well. They're all dead to me.

I thought about taking those fuckers to court just to mess with them, but my job requires a lot of background checks and it would cost me more financially in the long run if I did so. They can keep my money. I can't have filing civil suits on my record because it is really frowned upon for what I do for a living.

Neither party has the corner market on moral high ground when it comes to destruction of the family. Divorce rate hovers between 60-70%... and that goes UP for subsequent marriages.
Moral advice coming from a hooker lol

You can't make this shit up

Yeah, this board is hardly the moral police. To state otherwise is foolish unless you want to use your real name. Otherwise, STFU about morality, gotyour6. You didn't even understand her post... whether you agree with it is irrelevant, but learn how to read.

Any thoughts please reply.

I went through this with my divorce and here is what I learned. In my case I make significantly more than my ex-wife. Best advice I can say is get a lawyer. Good lawyers save you money in the long run. I got one of the better lawyers in my area. She picked one with a free consultation. I'd say keep in mind you're on an escort forum when taking advice.

* Child Support can be calculated on the delta between the parents income. So if you make 100k and she makes 40k, you can calculate support on 60k. Most guys I've talked to don't know this. It's actually pretty standard these days.

* The court system has changed over the years. The mother might still be custodial parent but you can fight for 50/50 and it's a lot easier to get these days.

* If this is happening via divorce you can fight over where the other parent can live. In my case my ex is restricted on the school systems she can live in.

* You can argue who pays for things like day care.

* On the mental health side of things on thing my lawyer told me that helped with the hit of child support. Basically you have no right to know or dictate what that money is spent on outside of a divorce decree. That money is to aid the other parent to provide a better life for the child. This could be by living in a better place, etc. The best thing is to just let it go. It comes out of my paycheck and I never see it.

Good luck. I know this shit sucks.

Do you actually live in Texas?

Texas Family Code § 154.125. Application of Guidelines to Net Resources

and
Texas Family Code § 154.126. Application of Guidelines to Additional Net Resources

The 1st statement you made is probably the most accurate.

Getting an attorney is probably the 2nd best thing you posted ... as long as one follows the attorney's advice ... and ... I'm uncertain as to how YOU determine that one attorney is better than another. You posted:
