I used to work at Conundrum. Not a very good place to work.

in ROC most business that it attracts that I have seen. A boat is a better invest to make money. A business needs to keep gov out to work right.

Irondequoit mall and Rochester's fast ferry, paetec come to mind. many others did not make the news as much.

A ferry company mmm a real one and the other was a guy with cash and a dream where the first to ask about buying a building on the river. City of Roch keep putting them off. Then along came MapleStar, in need of cash ta pull it off oh ya. Yet it was a better investment than Irondequoit's Mall. That is still sucking gov tit cash.

This is a total crock of BS!!!

Businesses are always bellyaching and whining the most for tax breaks/corporate welfare/Gov subsidies, along with removing Gov regulations that protect people and save lives. Texas is a perfect example of what happens when Corporations are allowed to do as they please. Texas has the filthiest air in the USA and the recent massive explosion at a fertilizer plant in North Texas shows the results when business is allowed to run roughshod over safety rules. People die!

If business had their way the USA would be like Bangladesh, where the recent collapsed garment factory building, a scene of unimaginable horror, where the death toll shot past 1,000.

How fast they forget the massive damage BP did to the Gulf of Mexico in 2006......ijs! Deepwater Horizon oil spill Debacle.

Saying business will police themselves is like putting Dracula in charge of the blood banks......ijs

That's why we have unions. There are some good unions, and unfortunately there are some bad ones. I think there are more bad ones than good ones, and I have been in 3. Only one was close to good, and not by much.

Same can be said of Corporations.
There are a few good ones but most today are run very badly by CEOs who belong in jail.

Local 210 and Carl Palladino, two crooked organizations working hand in hand.

I agree completely.

IMHO, what has ruined things in the last 30 or so years has been this "Global Economy" mentality. Many years ago, we had much more "National" line of thinking. From the little guy all the way upto to CEO's cared more about this country than the bottom line. Now all everyone cares about is how to make more money. Who can we exploit next? Democrats AND Republicans are all guilty of this.

here is a company that was built by Monroe county nonunion that unions helped Monroe build "Robu-Trad". For a way to get around ahhhhhh yaaaaaaaah unions.

mmmm talk about being on the tit. this Robu-Trad was a tit all on its own. MMMM a Republican started help by Democrat to rob tax coffers. All ya had to do was retire from your union government job to do work you could not do being still in the union. The union that you use to be part of will get ya in. After work was done go to strip clubs still on the tax dollar clock. fucking awesome sweet

that's what happens when Republican party and Democrat party agree on something for ya

mmmmm so its better when they do not agree and nothing gets done.

it was awesome when some Democrats tried to use it to get votes pointing at Republicans when it turned out that the same Democrats used Robu-Trad to cut there yard on a tax dime still being on the clock for sex.

edit: I want to thank Monroe county Republican & Democrat party's. Showing me how confusion and nothing is great.

Exactly!
Globalism is destroying the USA and is the main reason States and the USA are going into bankruptcy. Corporations are allowed to send millions of jobs and their plants offshore to max their profit margins. The results are Corps and their workers no longer pay taxes they used to that supported our Country and now the USA is going broke, while Corps are richer than ever.

Globalism has the same impact on the US that red states have on blue states.

Simply put, a race to the bottom is a race to the bottom.
