Thread hijacker!!!! Get him!!!!

Back on track. The most important part of all this is the provider letting clients know upfront that they require ID and what ID they require. Then, its up to the guy to decide if he is willing to do so. If you wait till he is at the door to ask for it, then you as a provider really screwed up and deserve any unkind comments he may post.

I keep aphotocopy of my DL with everything blocked out but the photo and first name. Then I have a copy of what has the 4 digits on it with everything but my first name and the last 4 digits blacked out. As a whole they verify I am legit on P411 and as they are completly unrelated documents, no one can trace me with the info provided.
I love this idea.... good thinkin!

As pornodave69 already posted, THIS is what I've said (over and over again) about the identification matching requirement:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Checking Identification. Update 09.21.12

Your P411 Client Id is made up of small bits of "real" info that can be verified by the provider, by looking at a couple of pieces of identification carried in your wallet.

Example:
John-01-a-0000
"John" is a name showing on your driver's license.
"01" is the DAY of birth showing on your driver's license.
"0000" are the last four digits on something you carry in your wallet.

I often recommend that gentlemen temporarily cover the other private information with tape or whiteout, leaving only the photo, matching name, and DAY of birth (on driver's license) and last four digits (on something in wallet) for the provider to check. Of course, it's always a good idea to let the provider know you are going to cover the other information, in case her personal policy would not allow for this.

If you schedule an appointment via P411 and upon arrival refuse to show identification to confirm you are the true account holder, please understand that your provider may exercise her right to refuse to see you. Also keep in mind that your provider has an obligation to report this to P411. Depending on the circumstances, P411 may suspend the account under which the appointment was made until the situation is resolved.

We have a terrible problem with people "sharing" client ids, sometimes to simply book an appointment and sometimes to rip the provider off or worse. These situations are becoming more common, and can be easily prevented if the provider takes a moment to confirm that the person before her has identification to match the client id.

I strongly encourage the ladies to check identification to make sure it matches the client id, and we are seeing more and more ladies following through, so be prepared! If your client id doesn't currently match your identification as indicated above, please contact us and we can fix it.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you don't want to show that you identification matches your client id, that's your business.

However, I've seen too many very serious problems occur with client ids that have been shared or compromised, so I absolutely support the providers who take the time to protect themselves from this type of issue by checking that the client id matches the client's identification.

If you are a client who does not want to show identification, even with the sensitive bits covered, I suggest letting the providers know that during the booking process. If an appointment is cancelled upon arrival, because you refuse to allow the provider to confirm she is dealing with the correct person, the onus is on you to make things right and to prove to P411 that you aren't allowing "a friend" borrow your client id.

Our policy is clearly stated, from when your client id was created and onward. Let me know if you have any questions!

Always,
Gina

Thanks for the policy clarification Gina. Too many on this thread claiming to know the policy when they clearly do not.

Taylor you are correct that P411 advises for the provider to see the ID of the hobbyist. I am curious to know if you are willing to show the hobbyist your ID?

I'm quite certain no provider would have any issue showing her identification, with the sensitive bits covered up, should it offer a way for her to prove that she hasn't borrowed the client id to rob, rape or arrest you.

All of which HAVE happened with borrowed client ids, btw.

Always,
Gina

Thanks Gina. I feel a lady who is carefull about who she sees will be carefull in other areas as well thus lowering the risk to me as well. I do feel a P411 or any other provider should not wait till a client is at the door to let him know he needs to provide ID. That will prevent any issues that might arise about this.

Fast Eddie, its not apples to apples. They have not seen my photos first. Not even a description. You think they have ID that says their hooker name and photo? Gina, can you start issuing these right away? :-)

I could be anyone. None of the information I show them could be used to identify me in real life if handled as designed. If they match their photos and are on a service like P411, then its highly likely they are who they say they are. If I get to the door and the photo does not match, I walk away. Too many guys don't.

I would never want to see or know their real world info especialy at a first meet.

P411 policy states that every client should be prepared to show they are the true owner of the client id when going into an appointment. This is on the application you fill out when first becoming a P411 member and is posted on the site, so it shouldn't come as any surprise really.

Although I do suggest to providers that they mention it during booking to prevent any issues.

Sincerely,
Gina

Just for my own clarification does this mean this P411 policy is only for those appointments that you go into your P411 account and select request appointment?

Does it also include appointments where you've only given the provider your P411 ID to check as a reference which could have been done thru here or email or any other way but didn't specifically schedule thru P411?

This is another thing I've posted countless time about: your P411 client id should be kept secure, only given out via a P411 Request or private message. Doing otherwise is creating the potential for your client id to be collected by a bad guy, and used to book and appointment with a provider (who on her end then doesn't make the person log in to prove he also has the password to the account).

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Keep Your Client ID Secure - Update 01.10.13
Your client id is a piece of information that needs to be kept secure. What this means, is that you should only give your client id to providers who are listed on P411, via P411 Request or private message.

If you are giving your client id out to providers via email, text or over the phone, you are setting yourself up to have your Active client id collected by someone who intends to cause harm to the ladies. Many fake or "spoofed" ads are posted in various places, with the intent of getting Active P411 client ids to use. While they would not have your password and would not be able to log into your account, they still try to make appointments with providers. If a provider doesn't make them log into P411 to send a Request, she is then targeted for problems.... then she posts YOUR client id all over the internet, saying you are a bad guy (because the bad guys were using YOUR collected client id)!!!

For this reason, it is very important that you protect yourself, and the providers, be treating your client id with care and caution. When using your P411 profile for screening purposes, ONLY give out your client id via a P411 Request or private message.

If you often use your mobile phone, and find the site cumbersome to use on your phone, please be aware there is a Mobile Option for private messaging. It can be set up, by following the link called Mobile Messaging in your P411 private message box.

Please let me know if you have any questions, and if you are guilty of giving out your client id in an insecure manner, we can get you straightened out by changing the last four digits of your client id. Please send us an email if you think this would be prudent!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
There are many small pieces to the verification process, all of which fit together to help keep everyone safe. I certainly understand that it can be a lot of information to absorb, and it can be a bit complex, but the bottom line is:

Clients:
Please protect your client id by using the P411 system ONLY to share it with the providers.
Help protect the ladies by being willing to show the small bits of matching info on your identification, if she asks.
Protect your "real life" identity, but covering up any other sensitive into that's not needed for the match.

Providers:
Please require anyone claiming to be a P411 member to log in and send you a Request or provider message, through P411!
Mention to your clients that you will be wanting to match his client id with his identification, and let him know if you are comfortable with him covering last name and DL#, etc.

I just want everyone to play safe.... there is no need to release detailed personal info when hobbying, but there is a real need to see that the correct person is using the client ids.

Just because we do not require ID does not make Dallas providers unsafe!

I for one do not require id I screen through p411, provider references from legit ladies, and I have other means as well and I have never had a safety issue in the 4 years I have been providing in Dallas.

To the op I am sorry things are not done the same way here in Dallas as they are everywhere else but to insinuate guys here do not like to see safe providers because they do not want to jump through your hoops is silly. Maybe Dallas is just not the place for you.

Gina what are the repercussions if a provider or hobbyist refuses to show ID because either party might feel rob, steal , or kill ? What if a hobbyist places on his profile that he will not show ID does that prevent any smack down from you

I can definitely vouch for Taylor. Her P411 account and reviews here should be enough to prove she is legit.

The very first provider I ever saw asked for personal info in her screening process. Not knowing any better or having any other way to be verified I gave it to her. She checked my ID when I got there. No problem. Saw her a few times and when she retired she recommended me to a new provider she was friends with.

Anyone who is familiar with using P411 should be prepared to show an ID. This is directly from P411:

"I often recommend that gentlemen temporarily cover the other private information with tape or whiteout, leaving only the photo, matching name, and DAY of birth (on driver's license) and last four digits (on something in wallet) for the provider to check. Of course, it's always a good idea to let the provider know you are going to cover the other information, in case her personal policy would not allow for this.

P411 at least has a system to verify you are who you say you are. However, any guy here can call a provider, say he's someone else and use that person's handle for verification. Unfortunately, there is no way to verify a handle here with an ID so asking for one for an non-P411 member doesn't do a whole lot of good. Anyone can say they're someone else and there's no way to prove it when they show up for an appointment.

We had a situation in NOLA once where a girl got busted. She set up an appointment with an ECCCIE member (supposedly) but she never corresponded with him via PM on this site. She only had his handle. Turned out that the cops just used his handle to get verified and she got arrested.

When it comes down to it, if you know in advance that a lady requires ID and you're not comfortable providing it, don't see her. She's doing it for her safety and yours. I never understood the need for a provider to see an ID that wasn't related to some other screening method (P411 or if you provided your real name to her), but even if she wants to see it I really doubt she'd remember what she saw unless she has a photographic memory. At best, she might remember your full name but she'd probably forget it by the end of the session.

No need to WK anymore.
