It really doesn't matter if legman and Kelly made up after this, or not. He had the balls to name her, which is more than can be said for many others. Even if she makes good on their deal, look at what he had to go through to get it. Really? If this thread had not been started, I wonder if the end results would have been the same....

She may very well be a sweet girl, but at least the membership knows not to loan her money unless they want to go through someone similar. Give the guy some props for doing the right thing!

Loaning money to anybody you know is never a good idea. Don't ever "loan" more than you're willing to part with and just consider it a gift and if you get paid back then that's just a bonus.

Provider specific: You have a better shot at getting time for your "loan" since they are in the "time" for money industry. If you "loan" money to a provider don't expect to get the cash back. I do however think it's perfectly reasonable to get an equivalent in her time. Hopefully you two can make this right....I just love a happy ending.

I sure hope some of the girls I like never ask me for a loan....I'll miss not seeing them again.

Legman, if it makes ya feel any better lots of us have been through this. Most of these women are $ driven. If there's not a envelope stuffed with cash at the end of a session you will go to the bottom of her priorities list despite the fact you already paid.

Add to the fact some of them think they got you by the short-hairs as long as they got your money and you got a generous gesture twisted into the feeling of a knife in your back.

I, myself refuse to loan, prepay anymore. Not good for business. Ever.

It's a shame really. Somewhere out there is an honest girl,down on her luck who really, really needs some cash fronted to her and has every intention to re-pay it in cash or session.

Now, she will pay dearly for the sins of the multitudes who won't re-pay their "loans" in cash or time. This is what happens and why under no circumstances will I ever front money to a hooker ever again:

Me: Ok, we're having a make-up session today right?
Hooker: No, sorry hun. I know I promised you a "free session" but I have to make money today.
Me: But I pre-paid for a session. THAT was money.
Hooker: But I have to make REAL money today.

See the mentality going here. They're playing with monopoly money. They never consider your loan "REAL" money because they didn't have to have sex for it.

I can't believe after all the horror stories of hobbyists getting stiffed, that anyone would actually ever consider fronting money under any circumstances. Hey, I hope it happens for legman. I'll be watching for the review. I'll bet loans are actually re-paid less than 10% of the time. In fact, I think there should be a a forum dedicated to this very subject. Then a hobbyist can do their research and see if this girl is a good loan risk. We can call it "The Bank". A forum dedicated to the loan re-payment stories.

Here's what I tell a girl who asks me for a loan: there's a hundred-dollar bill with your name on it under my pillow; all you have to do is come collect it. All of a sudden sick grandmas, can't find a babysitter, car broke down, all the standard excuses, go out the window.

I've never had a bad reference, there's not a lady out there who can say I was rude or less than a gentleman. I pay, even tip... and make damn sure I'm clean and fresh.

This event just took me by surprise as it isn't the money as much as the sheer disregard of me as a client if I'm not really a friend. Actually there still has been no apology, just a reason why.

If you do you are just feeding a bad habit and probably
destroying a relationship in the process. And guess what
if you don't loan them money you will see them again
they wont starve or wind up on the street, funny how
that is.

Always keep the proper boundaries.

Before we all start ragging on providers for asking for loans, let's not forget that it wasn't so long ago that a certain (AHEM! Cough!) provider loaned a mod money and had to go through shit that you wouldn't believe, to get it back. In fact I am pretty certain it wasn't the first time this certain provider (COUGH, COUGH) loaned money to a hobbyist.

It works both ways. Don't loan money to people you would like to continue to have a friendship with.
